Jul 21st 2008 3:42PM They probably WERE using Google Maps, but Google Maps is not always accurate. For instance, the place marker for my place is dead on....in the middle of the street. The place marker for my friend's house across town is off by 3 houses. The place markers for many of the locations that I already know of, are off by as much as a block. The nearest Subway sandwich shop is off by a block & the nearest Starbucks is also off by a block.

As far as I know, Google Maps does not provide a channel for reporting or correcting inaccuracies. Which may be a good thing for people who do not want to be found.

I am not surprised that stuff like this has happened & I am surprised it does not happen more often, by both criminals & the police.

Advanced Uninstaller Pro and Your Uninstaller! 2006 do not fit on this list because they have a purchase price, they are not freeware uninstallers....duh....
