They claimed to be platonic heterosexual roommates trying to save money by sharing living expenses. But others with only hearsay evidence claimed that there was something more to it. And so the rumours followed both men 'inside' Hollywood, but weren't known to the general public until after they'd both retired from acting. When in the 1970's and 80's OUTING every famous person who was rumoured to be gay, became a cottage industry, and so Cary Grant's name was included with Rock Hudson's, Montgomery Clift's, Charles Laughton's and others who were being OUTED at the time.

Jan 3rd 2011 3:42PM Why are his parents publicizing this childs issues in the media? Don't they know that by the time the Bible-Thumpers and bullies get finished with this kid, he'll be putting a gun in his mouth to end it all at 11 or 12 years.
Atleast they should teach this kid to live a dual life, where he could dress as he wants at home, in private, while in public he dresses like other kids his gender. This will allow the child to "Come Out" on his own terms, when he is old enough and mature enough to deal with the repercussions that will surely come his way from society and his peers. A 5 year old is NOT old enough to walk through this minefield of hatred and survive.

For example, was he shot while COMMITING a robbery? Or was he shot BY a robber?
If the latter, shouldn't the headline be: "Jeremy Hazell: Seton Hall Player Shot By Robber"?

Dec 9th 2010 7:47AM Dr. Watkins, I seldom agree with your opinions, but on this subject I agree 100%.
The NCAA is a billion dollar a year industry, whose top coaches make millions built on mostly poverty stricken athletes, many of whom only achieve a fleeting 15-minutes of fame anchoring these successful NCAA athletic programs, but MOST of whom NEVER go on to fame and FORTUNE in the NFL, NBA or MLB. And at the end of their NCAA careers they are left discarded and uncompensated in what is supposed to be a capitalist society. (Where even the lowliest Mexican farm worker gets some compensation for their labor). But these athletes have to take a VOW of poverty (and damn-near chastity) to keep their eligibility. It's a disgrace!
