Makeover Diaries: A Beach Babe Turned Soccer Mom {Stylelist (Main)}
Dec 6th 2010 2:44PM You're right, but she's a babe either way. Still, I agree...she looked great and tasteful before, so I saw no reason to change UNLESS she wanted to, and evidently, se wanted to. I love a woman with her own style and flair.
Jason Day Wins Byron Nelson for First PGA Tour Title {Fanhouse Golf Blog}
May 25th 2010 3:25PM It IS terrible in SoCal...people are leaving the state in droves (for the first time in the history of the Union), your state pensions are bankrupted and you're giving IOUs for income tax returns. Weather may be great, but you can't eat the sun.
You're right about one thing...you never said it wasn't good that the kid won nor did you say that it was good that he did win or anything else remotely positive. As far as the last hole not being quality, neither player had ever won a PGA event, winds were gusting at 30MPH plus, greens were dry and not holding and 18 is a tricky hole...but none of that matters? Day and Adams could've spotted you the ball on the green and they still would've smoked you! Hmm...I was at Muirfield 2 years ago when the cut was +7 because of conditions, so do you think that was classic golf at it's best (at the beginning, middle or end)? Did you know Tiger's totals for that tourney? No, but weather and conditions and pressure are part of it. And IF you'd been at the Byron, the drama of the last hole was palpable...it was good stuff and it doesn't diminish the previous 71 holes played by these competitors...that's why they play 72. Or do you dismiss those holes are being extraneous?
Jealousy? Again, the inference shows delusions of grandeur (and legitimate confusion) on your part. I'm not jealous; I can't golf and I at least acknowledge it, but I was there, I'll be at the Colonial and I'll be at Muirfield, too. You'll be at your computer writing about your retirement and past glory days and I'll be enjoying mine (at the course, actually experiencing it and maybe even truly knowing what's going on).
Peace, out...

May 25th 2010 12:47PM Wait a minute, cjgdnight, I think George is onto something...about you being a moron that is. Don't underestimate yourself. I mean, retarded at 45, oops, I mean retired at 45 in a beautiful yet the most screwed up state in the entire union and now you have all this time to be critical and negative about a first win for a 22 year old. Are you sure you aren't older than 45 'cause I didn't think you could become this bitter after only 45 years of a tough life. I'm sure among your many accomplishments in life was a PGA championship, right? No? Yeah, didn't think so. And, were you there at the Byron? No, didn't think so. Did you know what the conditions were like in the afternoon on the course? Sure you read about them, but you weren't there...rather, you were safely ensconced in your retirement lair in sunny California. And whoever said anything about not needing Tiger? But even without him, the sport will survive...although I'm not so sure about his bank account. Maybe you two could collaborate from your bachelor's pad in lala California about all the holes you've played and diss on the way everyone bumbles to the finish line - not measuring up to your collective high standards. Hope to see you at the Colonial this week...I'll be cheering on the players while you can write about it from your spacious loft overlooking the Pacific. Hey, I HOPE you at least have that going for you. Good comment, George.
Immigration: Arizona Cracks Down (What If They're Wrong?) {Politics Daily}
Apr 27th 2010 7:53AM Appropriately, this so-called news source should be renamed Ultra-Left Politics (on a) Daily (sickening basis)...just a thought. Like the policies on immigration heretofore have been effective - NOT! Not even close, so anyone with the LEFT portion of their brain tied behind their back (hopefully leaving only the RIGHT portion of their brain to think) can figure out Arizona is moving in the RIGHT direction. Before opening your mouth to put in your LEFT foot, why don't you adopt a wait and see attitude. Oh, wait, because that means you'd have to appropriate real data and statistics and you couldn't deal in hyperbolic leftist rhetoric. You go Arizona - the majority of the country and citizens of Hispanic descent support you!
'The Internet Will Fail' -- Bold Predictions That Completely Bombed {Asylum}
Apr 25th 2010 7:52AM Right on, James as the media turns a blind eye and deaf ear to the amazing truth you point out, the largest hoax perpetratred on mankind because they "like" it - therefore it is true. There IS no objectivity in media!
Report: Ben Roethlisberger's Accuser 'Dragged' by Guards {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Apr 16th 2010 1:26PM With all this alleged evidence, don't you wonder why Ben wasn't charged? Hmm, could it be the strength of the evidence isn't as commanding as what's being portrayed here? I'm not supportive of Big Ben's sexual exploits (alleged or factual), but the media are only offering a one-sided version of the story. Their continuing, seemingly slanted diatribe only makes the storyline less believable and hurts, rather than helps, the cause of the alleged victim. Oh, and she's an adult, too, and just maybe that figured into the prosecutor's judgment as to why this case wasn't pursuable in court. Balanced journalism, even in sports, seems to be a thing of the past, which is why so few of us pay much attention to any of it except to ridicule it.
Too Much Adulation as Woods Contends {Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti}
Apr 9th 2010 10:28PM Your question is rhetorical, right, about him getting this warm of a reception? I mean, you're kidding me...you can't be that naive, Jay. Um, does the name Bill Clinton mean anything to you at all? His sexual exploits are legendary and yet he commands how much for a speaking engagement, he of the hum jobs in the oral, I mean, oval office? Americans love their sexual heroes, and I predicted this type of fanfare when the story first broke last Thanksgiving. Now might it make a difference, a huge difference, if his wife and children were in tow? I'll bet that might make more than a few folks cringe before adoring Mr. Woods. But then again, maybe not. What does kind of surprise me is that the women are participating in the adoration. They normally would like to see a guy emasculated for doing 10%, heck, 1% of what Tiger's done. Shows the hypocrisy of us all...everyone's a sucker for the rich and famous and celebrities, all of which Tiger embodies. And to jim1201...it's one thing to forgive, it's another thing to worship perverse behavior. I'm all for forgiveness, but you don't glorify what was done in the name of it. Mrs. Woods is the one who should be getting our applause...takes an amazing woman to stick a marriage like this out - now that's legendary, more so than Tiger's feats, on the course and in the many bedrooms.
Clown Suit Fits Dismal Daly to Tee {Fanhouse Golf Blog}
Mar 4th 2010 12:05AM Daly may be never be the poster boy for golf or much else, but how can you bang on the PGA for putting up with him but then doing what to Tiger? Um, can you say nothing? Ask just about any red-blooded American woman about Tiger and you'll evoke very strong emotions, yet the PGA is taking no sanctions against their golden boy at all that I'm aware of. I realize the article's about Daly, but how do you not mention Tiger in the same breath?
Cavs Foolish to Pursue Stoudemire {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Feb 17th 2010 11:50AM I think AJ would be a better fit for the Cavs than AS, although both would improve their chances for winning it all. AJ has more upside because he's long and would stretch defenses even further as he does most of his damage 18' and out. That would open up the floor for LeBron as well as the post for Shack. The Cavs are already one of the better rebounding teams in the league, and while AS helps more in that department, it's not the most pressing need. Give the Cavs a big, proven outside threat and they'll finally bring the gold home to a starving Cleveland.
John Mayer Not a Racist, Just a Guy Who Says Stupid Things {PopEater}
Feb 16th 2010 7:14AM I can't help but wonder if he wasn't a liberal or progressive, would it even be considered that he's just a blabbermouth idiot? Consider Rush Limbaugh's being called a racist for quotes that amounted to misquotes and not contextually portrayed, yet he was a racist, not an innocuous blabbermouth. But because he's conservative, he MUST therefore be a racist. Double standards are doubly troubling, aren't they, if you're truly sincere and thinking. I doubt seriously either man is racist, but the media continues to reinforce that they have a dual personality depending upon whom their prey is.
