Doing a credit card chargeback, even once, can lead to blacklist {WalletPop}

Mar 7th 2010 2:48PM Denied a return for mdse. that I asked if I could return beforehand, Dog life jackets to small and they refused to order larger size, flatly refused to accept the jackets back, tags still attached, not damaged, clean, out of season so any larger size unavailable. When stonewalled by exact sales clerk that assured me a return was ok if to small just the day before, I laid the jackets on the counter and walked out, followed with clerk demanding I take the jackets. I left them standing on the sidewalk came home and reported it to the credit card as returned, store finally issued credit after card company contacted them. I guess I'm the bad customer who needs reporting, for only $99 I can clear my name?

Money College: One student's losing battle with private student loans {WalletPop}

Feb 26th 2010 4:24PM School cost are to high, often the college's hire specialist in loan hustling, preying on unsavvy away from home children. These children to become slaves once graduated. student loans backed by federal programs till they are loss proof, the taxpayer responsible should the student default. The loans are not bankruptable, like taxes, immune to bankrupcy protection, you either pay or die, the only means of resolve. Our congressmen agreeable to bank lobbyist promotion of protection from loss, modern day debtors prison. Are our colleges worth these cost and worthy enough to ruin their graduates adult earning years and dreams of a good paying profession? Doubtful!

Sears coming to the rescue of disenfranchised Chrysler and GM dealers? {Autoblog}

Feb 26th 2010 2:24PM Dealerships that lasted till they where lined up and shot where surviving on repair segiments of their busiess, no one wanted the overpriced cars. The aftermath proof all they accomplished was putting faithful employee's out of work, thank you big business and governmental interference! Used cars are the sales that are left, they don't depreciate 50% before you leave the lot. Why not go it with Sear's, beats nothing, that was the manifacturers offer! Good luck to those that attempt it, see you when I need to trade or get something done I don't want to do. Sear's had a car once, the Allstate, pretty good cars and they wheren't overpriced and offered good gas mileage decades before it became popular.

Sheen, Mueller Could Lose Twin Boys {Popeater}

Dec 30th 2009 2:50PM Charlie, Charlie, Charlie. Festivities got a little out of hand, holiday season and now everybody's gone crazy. Whom among us has not said things we wished we hadn't, things we never really meant? I believe it was Richard Pryor who said you can't slap them but you can sure as hell shake the sh#t out of um! Nobody was hurt, spending the night in the smelly, cold and dirty cell is enough punishment for something so silly. Give the DHS ladies their 30 seconds of fame and everybody calm down.

Rare 'Christmas Tree' Stolen From Seattle's Arboretum {Holidash News}

Dec 13th 2009 12:50PM In lean times, decades ago, I stole a christmas tree. My 7 yr old son with me, we selected a cedar and I axed it down to discover the field owner was watching at a distance, made no move to stop me. I hurried to escape, no need, he'd decided the tree was needed more by me. I thank him if he reads this, he was right I had no money to buy a tree and kids expecting one. I will remember his generosity always.

Some GM and Chrysler dealers destined for the dustbin get new life {Daily Finance}

Dec 4th 2009 6:10PM Build a car worth the selling price, something within the range of the average wage earner or get out of the way. The rest of the world already have the mdse, dealerships and parts with less cost and as good a quality if not better. The practice of tariffs to inflate competitors products price so GM can continue asking twice what their mdse is worth is absurd , union pressure or not, lawyers wages for assembly workers? $5,000 per car for advertising? 5,000 for retirement benefits? They've out paced their market, get in line or close, stop wasting Washington's money, they don't need any help!
