I sail and she is a brave little girl attempting such a journey, being alone she must sleep and theres no one to stand watch, hence a collision, not so strange. I would hope there is a support boat following for her safety, yes, there are pirates and most countries laws forbid any fire arms aboard so she will need protection. Fair winds and rum drinks! Congressional activities where these lobbyist are involved is solidly unethical, should be illegal but no doubt is covered to allow this flow of money and gifts to our elected representatives, contary to the interest of the public. I am shocked at the speed and extent this influence was successful w/ our new adminstration, merely weeks! We have met the enemy and he is us!

Dole is actually subsidised with money from Washington to artifically inflate prices on the market as is, why now should we accept this treatment from a Corperation where greed controls all policy. We are already paying several times the world market price for sugar! You mean we now can look forward to being screwed harder? Open relations w/ Cuba and watch the prices fall. Ethonal from corn cost as much enegry as it produces, sugar cane yields twice the benefit, but we can;t allow Cuba to profit?

Aug 2nd 2009 9:54AM AIG backs so many ventures against loss its failure would be catistropic, A great many of the empty store fronts you discover in the shopping malls are AIG backed, when a store closes the investment developer and management companies are insured covering loss of rent, its roots spread throughout the country effecting all of us in some fashion. Its unbelieveable mismanagement of TARP money astounding, undue bonuses, its a grab fest, get it while you can. The basic problem is a complete lack of morals, honesty and honor, we have 78% of the company, fire these thieves if you can't jail them, make them responsible for their actions and find an honest man to run AIG, not a politician, lawyer or doctor, someone who honors his fathers name, without greed as his total consideration and measure of his worth, something Wall Street hasn't seen in decades.

They controll the milage allowances, depreciation rates, do the lending on new cars, seems like they have all the bases covered! We've all been victimized enough by the auto industry, buy it today, tomorrow its worth 50 cents on the dollar crap! 100,000 mile warranties are only as good as they'll allow them to be, once you've bought it try and get it fixed, excuses, fine print horses asses syndrome!

We are bombarded with WE KEEP YOU LEGAL insurance hype, worthless insurance that covers nothing but is accepted by big brother, a ransom to drive above tags and taxes, when is enough enough? This latest scam is clearly an invasion of privacy, collecting information to sell. I love my country but I fear my government!
