Oct 3rd 2009 1:05PM I am 86 and am familiar with all the movies. In spite of the blame for the movie business hurting I don't accept the reason(s) Television, computers, etc. Actors were all characters. I don't mean caracter actors I mean they were all characters. Where are the Bogarts,the Waynes, Grants, Bryners, etc. Wayne didn't exactly make oscar winners but I never went to one of his movies with out enjoying it. It was fun watching Wayne do his thing.The same with Bogart,et al.

Aug 27th 2009 2:03PM I am not an expert on weight problems since I don't have a problem. However, I never met a fat person that didn't eat like there is no tomorrow. I recently read a report that said you can't exercise it away. While it is good for you, and we should all be doing it, it is not a cure for weight problems. And all the fancy diets are just a hope that you can still eat like a hog and lose weight. There may be a desease that causes obesity all though I never heard of one. The problem still boils down to eating too much and there is only one way to cure that.

Dec 29th 2008 2:43PM returning lost money isn'y always that easy. I found two hundred dollers in an unmarked envelope at a nearby bank. If the money is in a wallet or some other way where it is easily identified there is no problem however in an unmarked envelope like I found trying to return it is more difficult than it is worth. The bank is not in the lost and found business and they wanted no part of it. If I advertise finding it, other than that costs me money, I will get two million calls by people claiming it is theirs. If I give it to the police they have no more knowledge than I do as to who owns it. It will sit around for some predetermined time and then go into the retired plicemans fund or something. I kept the two hundred.

But the dumbest thing of all is their hatered for bush. They evidently don't read anything except the Liberal press. A london paper has a story on the war in Iraq, which we have won. We have almost totally saved Iraq. The numbers and facts are too long for this letter but the paper gives Bush and his surge the reason for the victory. I was a Democrat until I realized they were pushing socialism. But the real clincher was I don't like being associated with stupid people.
