My adult daughter asked to be MY friend on Facebook and I had to delete her as my friend when her sometimes off color posts appeared on my page for my co-workers and friends to see. You see it works both ways and children can embarrass their parents too.

Jan 27th 2009 5:35PM OK- so you get less cookies, big deal it's for the Girl Scouts people! Just buy one box and help them out. The US is too fat anyway, me included, so we don't need so many cookies but I feel we should support the Girl Scouts and a few bucks won't hurt us. Lighten up America, literally and figuratively.

Oct 21st 2008 11:16AM Now aren't YOU the typical snob! Coffee, like anything else, is subject, any one person's particular taste. By that I mean, there is no right or wrong answer except for which coffee is more reasonably priced. But as you suggested that anyone that prefers DD need psychological help is just plain wrong. Yes, you probably said it tongue in cheek but this Dunkin' Donut coffee drinker doesn't appreciate the rudeness behind your statement.

Feb 23rd 2008 5:37PM I hope this isn't a Sharpton observation because then this so called cry of racism is absolutely unfounded. He always looks for trouble. Sometimes it does exist but more often then not it doesn't. Sharpton enjoys playing the racist card instead of striving for peace.

Feb 23rd 2008 5:30PM I looked VERY closely and all I see is a white woman standing in front. The man in the back looks black but that might be his facial hair making it seems so. If he is black then he's holding hands with the white woman. Where is the racism here? I know that racism still exists but this is NOT one of them.

Annoying Restaurant Trends {AOL Food Blog}

Feb 16th 2008 3:17PM I was never a waitress but my son was as he put himself through college and all their gripes are legitimate. He came home and told us stories about how rude and inconsiderate customers can be. He broke his back to please the customers and they let their kids have food fights, run around the place and then have the nerve to leave a 5% tip and sometimes they don't even leave that. My son has gone outside and talked to the parents to see if it was anything that he did and EVERY time the parents said he was a great waiter, then got embarrassed and gave him additional money. How about the teenagers that come in, order french fries and share a Coke and then stay for 2 hours horsing around? And yes, left him no tip but an old movie ticket and a trinket of some kind. You bet my son went after them. They eventually came back an hour later, embarrassed and with a tip in hand. He was lucky that day.
All of you out there that think that waiting on customers is easy, try it for yourself and then come back here and comment. You have no idea what waiters have to put up with.

I don't think most Americans would consider her a good representative of British women and fashion. She's just one bad apple with a bad attitude. What a way for her to win Americans over. Too bad her mother never taught her manners and how to button buttons.

Aug 21st 2006 9:23PM Just remember that those "nice" items look nice to everyone else too and it's not uncommon for posessions to "walk" out of your dorm room. Take my advice and don't have anything that you would be upset about losing.

May 11th 2006 5:18PM I found tote bags that looked a lot nicer than these at stores that were more reasonably priced. These totes are ridiculous and obviously NOT for most of the women in America.
I would like to see more totes on this site that aren't over the top like these are. These are absurd!
