May 13th 2006 3:13PM Yes, Mother's Day is for the "offspring", but when the kids are young, Dad needs to make sure they do/make something nice for Mom. However, it wouldn't hurt Dad to do something nice on his own and let Mom know that he appreciates the great job she does as the Mother of their children. This applies to Father's Day, too.
