Jul 17th 2008 2:15PM It's essentially what you get when you take a job that involves providing services to the public. We still expect Stewardess/Steward services from an industry that now calls them Flight Attendants.

Flying has become a very unpleasant experience for the majority of travelers...The government herds us through stressful security lines. The airlines have squashed us into tiny seats, taken away the meager meals and snacks that used to be complimentary, and sanitized the friendly services of the overworked staff.

Apr 16th 2008 1:21AM Absolutely SF with all the construction and the stupid trucks and even vans that make that annoying beeping sound when they back up. Add to that the ADA requirements for beeping stoplights, and a multitude of uneccessary noise pollution make San Francisco a place of depreciating livability. Too bad.

Energy-Saving Bulbs Causing Migraine Headaches {Switched}

Jan 2nd 2008 1:36PM I will not use these awful lightbulbs. I especially have a problem when someone decides to mandate them. I have already stockpiled enough incandescent bulbs to last my family.
