You show your ignorance when you state that plants are being built in the South because we "uneducated" people will work for half the wage. Plants are being built down here because our people actually "want" to work, and our states and towns will do nearly anything to generate jobs. The South is the new financial center of the U.S., supporting sorry Yankees like yourself who whine and cry when their corrupt union bosses can't keep a Northern plant open. You want to live in a nice place where you don't have to shovel snow spring through fall, have a decent job and a lower cost of living, and raise your children to actually have manners? Jul 11th 2009 6:02PM Jackie - What are you freaking out about? Take a pill, then do your research before you rant. The KIA plant is, in fact, in West Point, GA. Lake West Point is run by the Corps, but they don't have much influence in town. If you have not driven past on I-85 lately, there are hundreds of thousands of sq.ft. of facility on the ground. My company is doing a good bit of the site develoment engineering...I even recently witnessed a design for the KIA test track (on the grounds) coming off our plotter. Don't you think that KIA Motors will need to hire some folks to man this operation? Of course they will. So, basically, know your role and shut your hole.
