My Grandson's Meltdowns Are Wearing Us Out! {ParentDish}
Jan 18th 2011 12:26PM I was caring for my VERY SPOILED 4 year old grandson. He asked for a drink of water and I simply said what do you say? Do you say please? He threw himself on the floor kicked his heels on the floor and banged his head on the floor. I just threw myself on the floor kicked my heels and banged my head. He almost instantly sat up looked down into my face and said "Grandma, you are so funny." We both laughed and he never threw another fit. In fact when his parents came to pick him up he said "I think I want to stay with Grandma." He continued his antics at home with his parents but, whenever he came to stay with me we always had a fun time and he never threq fits again at Grandmas.
Confessions of a Childhood Bully {ParentDish}
Oct 29th 2010 6:30PM My story is a little different. I was third in line in my family and my mother and father were quite contented with their two little girls and then I came along with a personality (Type A) which they both detested. I was NEVER spoke to. I was give list of things to do and never instructed in female matters. My fathers favorite name for me was "Worthless SOB" My mother just sat and cried and never defended me nor counseled me.

Nursing Home for Your Backyard in a Medical Care Cottage {Housingwatch}
May 22nd 2010 6:16PM My goodness, it sounds as though you have an either strained or non-existent relationship with one or both of your parents. Maybe you should examine yourself and sort out the fact from the fiction. You are a VERY unhappy and/or fulfilled individual. Your parent or parents are very blessed to be away from you. If dementia and or Alzheimer's disease are involved maybe you could avail yourself of medical information concerning these conditions and why people behave the way they do under this heavy burden. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing. You might like to try that.
Meredith Vieira Draws a Blank on 'Today' (VIDEO) {AOL TV}
May 16th 2010 11:49AM Try this one people. Is she using any type of artifical sugar in her diet. Read up on what this crap does to your brain. It causes neurotransmitter disorder. What a price to pay for being super thin. This is a billion dollar industry and they fail to inform people that this is a BIG side effect when you use this supposedly healthy product.

Dec 23rd 2009 5:08PM Great stuff! I am 73, still drive a very hot Corvette and am sick of trying to find something to wear that doesn't look like casket material with an elastic waist. These fashions are really very professional. Thanks for the heads up on fashion for over 50.

As Little Boy Loses Sight, He Asks to See USC Football as Final Wish {ParentDish}
Dec 4th 2009 9:33PM WOW!!! People really think that God is the bad guy, like putting sick children on earth to teach us a lesson. I don't know what book you have been reading but, the God I know does not allow things to happen to you to teach you a lesson, He does not dole out disease, death, pain. We live in this world and as such we are subject to the natural things that come our way. God is NOT the bad guy.
