Nov 15th 2009 10:48AM Last Thanksgiving, we went to Walmart while our turkey was in the oven,(we had someone stay home with it) And we actually cased Walmart so we knew the open areas that would have the sale items the next day. Bought our 10 pound newspaper with all the sale insert. The next morning at 4:30 we took our car and truck to Walmart so my husband got his 50 inch Samsung TV for $799.99, Saved $400.00 on that. I got our grandson PJ's and dvd's and toys. Came home and headed to Toys R us spent $112.00 saved $98.00 and all befor 8 am. Back to Walmart for m,ore stuff...We came home and took a nap. Most of our shopping for Christmas was done by noon on Black Friday.

Nov 12th 2009 10:57AM This past Saturday, the sale of HP notebooks at Walmart under $399.00 was mentioned on the 6 pm news, and turkeys 40 cents a pound. Ready to check them out I was out the door. They only had 10 notebooks sold out befor 9 am. I didn't really care but, but wondered why it was news worthy and why only 10 per store wasnt mentioned.
And you could not find a 40 cent per pound whole turkey in the store, but you could see the "2 per customer" signs over the freezer units they had been in.
But the plan worked ....it get me in the store...spent $123.84 on toys and clothes and groceries.

Nov 10th 2009 7:03PM No word from Steve, so why all the fuss? The guy needs some down time. A lot of time on the road for all those years can take its toll on anyone. I'm not going to spaz out, if he wants to take his exit, he has done a lot for the band and music and earned it. Just don't but him down, he like a lot of us at some times of our lives need more time to consider the whole thing and make his on decision.

Nov 8th 2009 1:47PM Black Friday is like a sporting event in my house, my husband and I check these sites buy what we can on line but we are up and in line for the items we have to get. Last year 4:30 am my husband God love him standing inside Walmart with a 50 inch Samsung on top of a buggy for $799.99. I had the small items DVD's and stuff and just waited till they announced the registers program would scan the sale prices. Got home and unload the car and truck and headed to Toys R US, Spent $112.00 saved $98.99. Then had a nice breakfast and back to Walmart. DO NOT DRINK COFFEE IF YOUR GOING TO BE STANDING IN LINES....ROOKIE MISTAKE...I have had years of experiance. I can tell you it pays to get out there on Black Friday. And cyber Monday is good too, they deliver...My UPS guy, even knows where I want my boxes placed, he puts them in a vehicle in the drive so they can't be seen from the street.
