Of the people who DO eat at Burger King, a large percentage are probably unhappy with their weight, since most Americans are unhappy with their weight. AT LEAST half of them are probably women. Of those women, I bet most are heavier than Jessica Simpson, who is thin by most people's definition. (Unless you are in Hollywood, that is.) So why would Burger King intentionally offend half of their customers? Stupid move on their part.

Sep 11th 2009 2:42AM I remember when I was in kindergarten. We studied the different coins in our currency. We learned what the front looked like, we learned about the person on the coin, we learned what the back looked like, and we learned how much each coin was worth. Well, after this is finished, we'll have 108 different quarters! (1 normal design, 1 design from the 1976 quarter, 50 state designs and 56 park designs). That's RIDICULOUS! How the heck do you teach THAT to your kids? Do we really need 108 DIFFERENT quarters? It's dumb. Let's move on, people!!!

Aug 24th 2009 8:51AM I agree with the author... anyone who understands grammar certainly wouldn't think the sign was racist. If you DID think it was a racist sign then maybe you need to worry a bit less about what some bar owner posts on his door... and a bit more about getting a education. When I saw the content of the sign, I immediately thought "Sheesh, someone getting all bent out of shape over a sign about gang colors." (And I was completely correct.) People need to stop looking for an EXCUSE to get their panties in a wad.
