Apr 9th 2011 3:23PM Anyone else in New England see the story behind this on the news? Essentially one city employee went on a diet and among other things cut out her soda intake; now she's all health-nazi about it. Nanny-state policies often seems to be brought about by nosy middle-aged women sticking their noses in other people's private lives. To which I say this: I'm an adult, I'm not your damn kid, stay out of my affairs and deal with your empty nest syndrome now that Skylar and Madison have gone off to college on your own time, not by trying to run other people's lives.
Feb 26th 2011 4:12PM As a lifelong, hardcore Red Sox fan...I think Joe's a great choice.
Feb 12th 2011 7:06PM This should be filed under a "parents need to make their brat behave" dismissal.
Feb 9th 2011 7:06PM Continuing the Simpson family idiocy; I mean it took her a whole two years to figure out Pete Wentz is gay when anyone else would figure that out in about 20 seconds.
Feb 5th 2011 8:26PM Dude that saying is everywhere...we say it in New England too.
Jan 11th 2011 4:12PM Security my ass! Stop with the idiocy and lies TSA, you have never ever caught or stopped a terrorist, that is a factual statement. All the TSA is, is a bloated, civil rights stomping bureaucracy made out of mouth-breathers. I worked private security at an airport a couple years ago. Most of our hires were...not the brightest, and TSA would pick from the pool of people we fired or rejected!! These are the idiots pawing your crotch.
Dec 12th 2010 8:29PM Britain when are you going to oust this useless inbred Franco-Prussian family and join the 21st century?
Dec 11th 2010 9:40PM I think you hit it right on the head there, Jessica. This sounds like a travel brochure press release disguised as a "lifestyles section" news article. This stuff is very common in modern journalism so I'm not shocked, per se, it's still pretty tacky though.
Dec 11th 2010 9:26PM I dunno, Anna, I think this is sorta the "hipster Christmas" list. There are many MANY more places I would put ahead of most of them on this list to visit during the holidays.
Dec 11th 2010 8:43PM Uhh this list actually kinda sucks, I mean a lot of these places are not what I'd call "Christmas spirit" type vibe. New York, fine. Bethlehem, PA, sure; but a lot of the others sound pretty tacky.
