Mar 23rd 2010 10:22AM One does not go from honor roll to dpecial ed b/c of stress....Maybe the stress causes her studies to suffer but it did not make her special ed. Maybe her parents who raised this self centered teen should should some responsibility...
Mar 9th 2010 10:48AM I thought that it was a very boring year for dresses. These women have unlimited funds and choices and I found most be a snore and just plain unattractive. Jennifer Lopez was really bad she looked like she wrapped herself in a sparkly mattress pad. What was Charlize thinking with big flowers on her chest. Kate Winslet looked like she was wearing a "mother of the bride" essemble from Penneys. It was just a little boring.I thought Sandra B. looked lovely but her dress was a little boring too and wrinkly...atleast the bodice of Zoe's was beautiful - i thought the bottom was too much but atleast it was interesting. Queen Latifah looked lovely.
Feb 22nd 2010 3:46PM Did you people watch the show or are you just reacting to what you read? The character with Down Syndrome was not being ridiculed or belittled - Chris was being made fun - but CARTOON character with DS was the most intelligent, strong person in the episode...apart from saying her Mom was the ex-Gov. of Alaska there was nothing controversial about it -
Feb 22nd 2010 3:42PM I do not find the Family Guy funny- but he was in no way making fun of people with downs syndrome. And I respect the actress for speaking up for herself. I suggest that if Ms. Palin is truly interested in the rights of the disabled or those with DS that she quit posting on facebook and do something of substance. I do not see her giving time or money to the Special Olympics or any similar org. she is just interested in getting her name in the press.
Feb 9th 2010 11:41AM it is not like she is on the cover holding the top of her swimsuit or with her ski suit unzipped to her navel. She is a lovely athlete - she does not have to pretend she is unattractive.
Jan 26th 2010 10:48PM Phoogas8-I can only hope you are being sarcastic.....
Jan 26th 2010 10:46PM This has NOTHING to do with ACORN. This has to do with a group of young men who seemingly broke the law - and this is more than a little prank.....It has nothing to with ACORN - bringing it up is just an attempt to create a distraction from the reality of the crime they are accused of.
Jan 26th 2010 10:44PM ummm you may want to brush up on your law - it is illegal to misrepresent yourself to gain access to federal property-and with the intention to interfer with the federal communication system....What they did was very illegal
Jan 26th 2010 10:42PM a brave and good person does NOT attempt to wiretap a US Senators phones.........that is a CRIMINAL
Nov 5th 2009 1:17PM I think that racial comments by the writer are a little over board. But Dunham does use stereotypes in his comedy. And the problem is not that he is white and he is making fun of minorities...so all of you who want to say "well Chris Rock makes fun of white people"..blah blah blah. Stop whining and crying that it is ok for other minorities etc. (the old reverse racism silliness) The issue here is that Dunham uses the stereotyping as the basis of his jokes. He is not making amusing, clever or insightful social commentary. He is using bias and stereotyping as the humor...that being said he is a great ventriloquist - and I since I do not find him funny I do not watch....
