Wal-Mart Text-Message Hoax Warns of Gang Initiation {Switched}

Mar 23rd 2009 6:22PM I got this text too. We also had at least 3 phone calls from friends warning us. It was all over the news here in South FL. My family in Georgia were also talking about it. I didn't immediately believe it, but trust me, this is something that is completely conceivable around here. I guess there was a new Walmart opening that day in a nearby town. It's pretty scary, and very realistic here!

Peep of Faith -- The Most Heavenly Easter Candy Dioramas {Asylum}

Mar 22nd 2008 7:21AM Mr. Severyn, you are woefully ignorant. First of all, you shouldn't assume things about people, not only did you sound like you were rambling a bit, but as if there weren't crimes 50 years ago...please! Also, you act like all 50 yr. olds are capable of having impressive knowledge of the world around them...puh-lease.
Anyway I can probably attest that Mohammad is not in the uhh.."Peep Show" =] for several valid reasons.
1) (Obvious, but) Muslims don't celebrate the holiday of Easter. They have their own holidays that we don't celebrate.
2) Muslims don't eat Peeps because they are made of marshmallow, and therefore not Halaal (kosher).
3) Any images of the prophet Mohammad are sinful and banned from the religion through the Shari'a - the Islamic code of laws. Seriously where were you when the Teddy Bear Named Mohammad drama came up a few months ago? A woman was whipped for that!
I can't really speak for any Buddhists, but I'm pretty sure Buddhists don't celebrate Easter either...at least not religiously. And why? Because while Easter may have pagan backgrounds, it is a Christian holiday. And Christian includes Christ. AKA Jesus Christ. Not Mohammad, or Buddha. Besides, apparently there are many Buddhas. When these two religions celebrate holidays, they don't include Jesus, and that doesn't bother me.
