Report: Lance Armstrong Caught With Drugs by Customs Officials in 2003 {Fanhouse Main}

Jan 20th 2011 11:57PM @RICKINUPSTATE-
Steroids don't cause testicular cancer you dolt. Additionally, testosterone levels are typically elevated in men with testicular cancer. If you read the article, you will note that the elevated testosterone levels were found just months before his testicular cancer was diagnosed. It's not astrophysics.
I'm a PA, so I do know what I'm talking about.

Which NFL Team Has the Best Hip-Hop Fan Tribute? {Asylum}

Jan 15th 2011 4:41PM Another person who didn't READ before he TYPED. This is the explanation for how the pairings go...READ people, READ!!!
"We took a look at the best songs on YouTube for each team playing this weekend and matched 'em up head-to-head in order to discern what might happen on the field."
The Fleagles didn't make the cut either...TY Michael Vick! :)

Jan 15th 2011 4:39PM @stephens...to illustrate further what I am saying...here's what the ARTICLE that preceeds the songs actually says.
The article states..."We took a look at the best songs on YouTube for each team playing this weekend and matched 'em up head-to-head in order to discern what might happen on the field."
So...the Aint's didn't make the cut.

Jan 15th 2011 4:34PM Uhmmm HELLO? The SAINTS didn't make it past the first round. This article is about the teams in the playoffs this week (week of Jan.15)and they paired up the teams that are actually PLAYING each other for a face-off of THEIR songs (i.e. Steelers are playing Ravens so they paired Steelers vs. Ravens Anthems)...not just all around Team Anthem Songs. Wow...slow on the pickup.
And to whoever said it's black n gold...yes technically those are our colors...however...if you LOOK at the jersies you can plainly see they're clearly YELLOW and NOT gold now.

Anderson Cooper Blasts New Vince Vaughn Trailer {PopEater}

Oct 8th 2010 5:57PM This is absolutely ridiculous. It's petty. It's asinine. It's GAY.
People say "you're acting like a blond, and I don't get offended (I'm blond). When ppl use the phrase "that's so gay," they're not using it in a vile, mean way. The phrase doesn't even mention homosexuals/lesbians. If others (AC) wanna get their panties in a bunch, do so over something that matters...like REAL homophobic remarks. "That's gay" is just a play on words, not a slur. When I say it I'm not talking about gay PEOPLE. It's slang for stupid, ridiculous, dumb, etc. For example, "Anderson Cooper is being SO GAY about about one line in a movie that no one but him or other way-too sensitive people even care to mention. Jeez, pick your d*mn fights. If someone really wanted to offend a gay person, I can think of a million other things they could say that would actually be mean. Him even having anything to say about this is just......I dunno why people continue to amaze me at how ridiculous they can get over NOTHING. If you're offended by this line YOU should get a grip. Things that are said in jest should be left in jest.

Why Did You Change Your Mind About Abortion? {Politics Daily}

Oct 5th 2009 12:51AM lnsfrdflxfrd---
Handing out birth control doesn't encourage kids any MORE than they are already encouraged to have sex. What it DOES do is provide contraception to those teens who OTHERWISE WOULD NOT USE PROTECTION secondary to embarassment/ridicule/inaffordability. Ramble on about bastards, how the world has changed, kids out of wedlock all you like. This will NOT change the fact that teens have sex. And sorry, sex ed will NOT discourage kids from having sex. The idea that a lethal disease or pregnancy could result from unprotected sex will NOT discourage kids from having sex...b/c teens think they are invinceable. The ONLY way to protect the teens from STD/ unplanned pregnancy in the US is to make birth control/contraception affordable and fairly easy to get. Hiding your head in the sand and pretending it's not happening, or only teaching abstinence, are surefire ways for teens to get pregnant or STDs. I remember being taught abstinence...and I also remember half of my class (and this was back in 1993/1994 when I was a teen) snickering and making fun of the fact that people thought telling us to wait to have sex would really make us do it. Use your heads ppl. Wagging your finger at a teen and telling them " honey, you really will want to wait to have sex until you're older and in love and it means something..." does nothing. Oh wait...it does give them something to laugh about. Don't be stupid or naive...keep your kids safe by helping them get birth control/contraception...and also Gardasil (the HPV vaccine).

Why Did You Change Your Mind About Abortion? {Politics Daily}

Oct 5th 2009 12:39AM The morning after pill is NOT an abortion. Where are people schooled these days? An abortion terminates a viable pregnancy. The MAP prevents conception. This isn't rocket science.

Woman Terminates Adoption Because She Can't Bond With The Child {ParentDish}

Oct 1st 2009 7:00PM KD,
Selfish? How is knowing that you can't or won't properly care for a child, thus giving them up, selfish? She can't bond with him...maybe YOU could...but she can't. People respond to situations differently. How can you call her selfish when she is trying to give the baby the chance at a better life by giving him up?
She's just human.
She's now in the media spotlight which could expose her family or herself to a lot of negativity, criticism, etc. She was doing the only thing she knew to be right when she couldn't love or bond with him. Which is much better than the child living in a home where he was not loved...or where he didn't FEEL loved or cared for.
What do you suggest she do? Keep him then neglect him? Not love him? Eiher way it's a crappy situation, but at least she knows what she cannot give and is letting someone else give that to him.
