Apr 24th 2008 4:36PM I do not know why so many of the people I know want to vote for Clinton just because Obama is black. Yes, this is a very different election. Potentially women presidents, potentially black presidents. The first in the United States.
Both Clinton and Obama are on the media. Both are Democrat. Both claim to do many thing but in reality may or may not do them.
You have to think about what you want for yourself and your family. Who do you want to leave your life in? Who do you believe in?
Clinton and Obama have their pros and cons. And pros to those cons and cons to those pros. You have to put everything into consideration. Don't base your vote on the media, on other people's opinions, or on one thing a candidate says that you may or may not agree on.
People can be very narrow minded. You need to broaden your outlook. Be more intelligent with what you base your thoughts and votes on. It's much like don't judge a book by it cover.
