Oct 17th 2009 4:23PM I guess the thing is for me is that this is reverse racism. Some African-Americans cry foul when they do not win at something. In this case, something they have always won and did not, was a problem. Specifically because the girl was not black. Now imagine if a white person had said the same thing, that it was wrong for a black person to win because they were not white. That school would have blown up, the NAACP would have thrown a fit and everyone (not black) would have been attacked and forced to defend thier position. This double standard is what keeps racism alive more than ever.

Dec 18th 2008 8:24PM problem is there are no active ingredients in those vitamin C drops, they are NOT 'cough drops' they are defense drops. They do not contain medicine to prevent coughs or help with colds, they are basically nothing more than vitamin C lozenges that while you eat them make your mouth water, as would any food, and help to keep your throat moist. Vitamin C does not cure nor prevent any illness, but it has been proven to shorten the duration of an existing cold. Studies have not 100% proven that vitamin c will actually prevent any illness.

Dec 13th 2008 7:13PM Lets pay the poor minority races to learn, what a crock of crap. First of all there are many poor white ppl as well, do they get ignored because they are white? Guess what, that is racism. Secondly all this teacher is doing is teaching these kids to EXPECT a reward for everything they SHOULD be doing in life anyway. Plus, give them the best education in the world and any degree you want, but if they arent responsible enough to put it to use then what good is it? They cant follow thru on thier responsibilities as students what makes them think they can ever commit to a full time job. This is ignorant, and racist. Once again its all about the poor minorities because white ppl never have it tough. This teacher is an idiot. Use bribery instead of making them learn the lesson of values. How sad.

Oct 12th 2008 7:45PM If the only place you are getting your information from is Fox news you should be aware that that channel is completely biased. You will not be able to make an informed decision based on the information they provide. If you dont believe me sit back and watch some of the other news channels talk about the same topics Fox does and you will see that Fox only supports the Republicans. Other stations may be slanted but they will still bring on speakers and guests who disagree with them and will argue points with them. Fox will say what ppl think for them (they did it at the 2nd presidential debate when afterwards they did a show of hands on who ppl thought won, the ppl picked obama and the fox reporter then went on to say, they are saying who they thought won the debate, not who they are voting for. That is just about a word for word quote. To the viewers at home that reporter just decided for every person there that they are voting for mccain. Fox news is NOT the channel to be watching if you want both sides.

Shes a soccer mom and joe six pack? How many of you soccer moms make 170k per year, live in a govenor's mansion and have staff to care for your kids and make your meals? She is not an 'average everyday' person. She is a woman who will destroy our country if mccain is elected. You all like big brother taking away your rights? Thank Dick Cheney and then remember how Palin said the VP should have even more power than now, out of her own mouth at the VP debate. Scary. All I can say is if your concerned at that statement alone I dont know what else can be said to convince you.

Oct 12th 2008 7:28PM Im surprised ppl would vote for mccain when its been posted in newspapers that his insurance for americans plan cover about 8million less ppl and costs 800million more to implement than obama's. Mccain also wants to cut social security by 1.3 trillion dollars and believes everyone should 'invest in the stock market'. We can all see how well that is going. How many of you have even 100k saved up for retirement, and if you do, do you honestly believe that it will last you for even 10 years? Ppl might want to consider a little more than if someone is a liberal or not or republican or democrat. All of these labels mean nothing, we are ALL americans. Do not vote based on party affiliation, vote based who makes more sense. Even Obama's economic plan has been verified by independant sources as more successful than mccain. There is alot more at stake here than the lies each party is telling about one another. Lists of past, bad associations run long for both canidates. Mccain's economic advisor worked as a lobbyist for fannie mae and look who's getting bailed out now. Use your brains ppl.

Oh wait, sure I do, everytime i get my phone bill. Its no wonder these companies charge out the butt, they have to pay One whole guy, who probably cant even fix a phone line problem. Stupid sprint and nextel. Lower your prices, halve your ceo's pay, and you will make a hell of a lot more profit in new customers who dont feel like they are taking it up the rear.

What kind of message is he sending really, that verbal abuse of other human beings is ok? These types of inciting always end up escalating, and as long as he continues to tell lies and try to infuriate ppl it will. In my opinion every media source should pull thier coverage of Mccain before one of them gets hurt. If this continues on one of them will get hurt, or an attempt will be made on Obama's life. It's a sad day in America when a canidate would blatantly try to make ppl hate another canidate so much that they may try to harm him with violence. Mccain/Palin/Cindy you are very sad, sad people, and I am ashamed that you represent our country at all. For someone who claims to love our country so you surely do embarrass it.

Oct 3rd 2008 2:40PM I dont see how ppl can claim palin won. Biden made a huge issue out of how mccain had yet to say how his running the country as president would differ from bush's. Palin had an extreme opportunity at that moment to say something, anything, yet did not. That was why she kept saying biden was only looking to the past, while in fact he was only pointing out that the past is what we will end up with in the future. Palin answered with only the stock rehearsed info she had on hand, refusing to answer several of the moderators questions, and even going so far as to blatantly say she would only answer the ones she wanted to. She won because she told the most lies? Or she won because she tried to play to the ppl as a 'hometown' girl? Im a mother of a disabled child, which she tossed out there twice, yet forgot to mention how she cut funding for the special olympics in alaska. I cant believe some ppl are actually refusing to see the truth for all of the lies about mccain and palin. Its not secret info, if your willing to do a little checking you will find they are indeed full of the proverbial 'crap'.
