Mar 18th 2010 7:17PM NASCAR started going downhill when they stopped racing stock cars. Imagine how much less expensive it'd be to race Sprint Cup if everyone had to buy their equipment off the street. Of course, beefed up brakes, fuel bladder and roll cage would still be required, but speeds would be way down which would decrease the number and severity of accidents. That'd also mean a lot more racing too. Big thing about Indy drivers racing in NASCAR. Why not run Indy cars at Daytona? If we can run Sprint Cup at Indy, we should be able to do the reverse at Daytona.

Mar 18th 2010 7:08PM It's basically the same in any sport. There'll always be someone who will say that the new kid is no good before he's gad a chance to prove himself. I think we need to give the guy a couple of years in the league before we can really say whether he's good or not.

Gives a better, in depth understanding of the characters and their motives behind certain actions that are kind of puxxling when just thrown up on screen.
