As for the ads..why does Levis have to direct its advertising towards a particular group of people? Levis have been around forever..even without the gays & lesbian support! And I agree with the other posters...STOP shoving your sexual preferences down my throat...your gay, big deal! And since we do have the freedom of choice...I choose to get rid of the Levis me and kids have and I choose not to purchase the Levis brand again. (And I dont have Calvin Kleins either)

Feb 17th 2009 5:15PM I'm 37 and I've been to Disney 3 times. None of those times did I find "It's a Small World" a fun ride..it was completely boring. Alot of the characters were before my time...outdated to say the least. My son was 8 when we last visited and he had very little interest in the ride.

Change is not bad...most of the time. I realize that a part of "OUR" childhood is going by the wayside but they have to change things around for younger generations. For example: I live very close to Carowinds and years ago they had a no-thrills train ride around the kiddie section. It had a Flinstones theme and Fred and Barney were the main attraction. I told my son "Look, theres Barney!" Sadly...the big purple dinosaur wasn't there and he had no clue who I was talking about! The ride has since been changed into a Dora the Explorer theme ride.

I dont think Walt Disney would be horrified...I think he would be impressed to see the company he built focusing on TODAYS children.

I am a mom...been a stay-at-home mom for 19 years. I have never been able to get anything in my name alone because of the lack of income. Hubby has always had to put his name on the dotted line as well.

Dec 2nd 2008 11:01PM A purely innocent gift gone haywire.....A few years ago, my mother who apparently never had her mind in the gutter, gave us girls one of the pickles for Christmas. It's a game called "Hide the Pickle". You hide it in your tree and whoever finds it has good luck. Of course it gets a laugh every year and I swear my mom still blushes when its brought up.

He/she could be waiting in the restroom or the play tubes.....if you have depended on the "added Security" to keep your child safe...you are pretty much SOL. If a bad guy is determined....a stamp is NOT going to divert him! It is OUR job as parents to keep our children safe.
