The Plus-Size Struggle to Put on Socks -- The Fat Man's Perspective {Asylum}
Jun 19th 2010 3:03PM Go down to Home Depot and get some wood or metal and rig up a simple frame that can hold a sock open, so you would insert and get the sock ready with your hands close to your chest where its easy to get things done, then depending on your level of heaviness just set or drop the frame onto the ground and use your feet to "kick" the device into position. Thrust your foot into the sock and hook your toes as you pull back to remove the sock (now on your foot) from the frame. Use your grabber to grab the frame and reload the next sock.
Easy.
Challenging My Masculinity -- One Writer Dares to Ignore the Maxims of Manhood {Asylum}

Zombies are bad for the economy {WoW}
Oct 27th 2008 7:38PM It's good to get tired of a game... All these arguments against the zombies seem to stem from people that infest far more time into the game then they should. It's not the guy that's only been playing for a month cuz he just loves this MMO thing. It's the guys been on for years, oh noes, its different... it's broken... No it's not different it's a game, and a game is merely a system that presents expected and unexpected challenges one must overcome. For christ sakes, go play EVE cuz the only thing the zombies affect are leisurely auction browsing and auctioneer scans, hardly the core element of game play in WoW. So suck it up little ones, or if you care to hammer out the details MSN: mils_orgen@hotmail.com, MYSPACE: myspace.com/negro_slim, EMAIL: milsorgen@gmail.com
Brack: Will Blizzard consider a graphical overhaul? "Yep, probably." {WoW}
Aug 21st 2008 5:03PM let the graphics updates come, let the system requirements increase. if it keeps the game competitive in it's market it will receive more care an attention then a game that has lost it's edge and fallen by the wayside. besides upgrading is a fact of life, tho it neednt happen nearly as often as some would lead you to believe. but a 3-4 year major upgrade cycle is about as good as it's gonna get if you want anything decent.
Activision CFO: "Blizzard is top notch" {WoW}
Jul 21st 2008 7:12PM Blizzard has years of cred under their belt, it would take at least 1-2 failures before they're forced to comply with others decisions regarding release dates.

The Art of War(craft): How WoW as an eSport can actually work {WoW}
Jul 13th 2008 8:14PM video games are not a sport as i tend to think of the word, theres too much between the actual players (and their talent) and the outcome of their decisions. too many lines of code and wires between the supposed athlete and what is actually occuring. even poker is more sportslike in that regard, players pitted in a physical contest head to head
Jennicide: Male players "need to be more accepting of women ingame" {WoW}
Jul 12th 2008 12:57PM its been my experience that female players will go out of there way to make it known they are female. almost as if there is an expectation of superior treatment just do to their gender. i won't have anything to do with players like that, wanting to be treated equally is a two way street. therefore until i know ya better I am going to treat you all like a 13 year old brat that just bought his epic 70 hunter, hah.
3D touch interface for WoW due later this year {WoW}
Jul 8th 2008 9:02PM Think about the response your keys provide as you type, take that away. Typing really sucks, force feedback can be a positive thing adding one more facet to the many enjoyable things technology provides. Steering wheels and video game controllers come to mind. If this was applied lightly with an inexpensive controller it could take off. But no one in their right mind is going to spend more then a few bucks on a tech that isn't going to add anything more to the game then rumble paks did to the consoles.
The Care and Feeding of Warriors: On my treads {WoW}
Jul 4th 2008 2:06PM Listen I understand a 5 man is rather limited and alot of runs require some extra cc or heals that dps warrior just can't provide. But to say it's a damage issue, that is just absurd. I have never, ever, ever been grouped with players even remotely geared near my level of equipment and not been the top damage done, and most of the time the top DPS to boot. It's not burst damage it's sustained and it's epic in it's awesome glory of sheer destructive force. But most players don't see or realize how much damage a properly geared and played (at any level) dps war can do. Simply put we need some limited form of CC to make us the true hyrbid class Blizz calls us.
