Aug 20th 2010 9:47PM Letting the dog know who's boss is not by beating or being physical with the dog. It's in your attitude and little tricks like - never let the dog thru a door 1st. You always go thru the door first. Getting the dog trainned is easy. But you have to re-inforce that tranning on a regular schedule. Like making the dog wait out side the door untill you say come. The dog will test you every now and then. If you are nice they trust you. Break that trust-runaway dog!

Aug 20th 2010 9:26PM They are both right! It depends on the dog! Bully breeds respond better to "Pack Leader". My hunting dogs are crazy, and need a different type trainning, more specialized. Collies and other house dogs train better with hand signs and treats. I use different ways for different dogs. But the pack leader does work well. The dogs don't rule, human rules, if you know how to lead. Otherwise they rule you! Treats make dogs fat after awhile. Read all the books!

Aug 14th 2010 11:55PM Levi Johnson was not that hot in his photo shoot. He should keep his nose clean, and relize everything he needs in life is right there in his new family. Keeping his goals on lofter , more career oriented direction would benifit him better. ( I thought for a hockey player he would at least have better abs!) He still is baby-face cute though!
