Sarah Ferguson: They 'Destroyed' Me Because I'm a Royal Ex Wife {PopEater}
Jul 5th 2011 7:51AM why do ex's think they are still part of the family? Once you leave you are no longer a member of the family and shouldn't expect to take part in family events other than those that involve your children such as their own marriages. The marriage of an in-law nephew doesn't include ex's.

Why Are Companies Still So Inflexible With Working Mothers? {ParentDish}
Mar 24th 2011 8:41AM It is not the company's job to cater to employees home lifestyles. It's called making a choice. You are hired to do a job at the company's needs level. It's one of the reasons the two parent, one parent home to care for house and home works so well. You can't serve two masters. Either you will give less of yourself to your job or you will cheat your kids. I quit my good job to be home with my kids. I don't regret it one minute. A job is just a job, they come and go but family is forever.

'Teenage as a Second Language': Q&A With Author Barbara Greenberg, PhD {ParentDish}
Feb 16th 2011 8:01AM I started talking to my kids from the day they were born. But not only did I ask them questions, I let them ask me questions. Most important of all I LISTENED. I didn't jump on them for a bad idea or correct every point they made. I'd ask them what they thought it was amazing how they would fix their own erroneous concepts with a frank and open discussion. At 18 and 17 we have great conversations. Somethings are still a little taboo like if they like a girl.
Leading Experts Rethinking Food Allergy Causes {ParentDish}
Feb 11th 2011 9:24AM my mother started us on solid food very young, only few months old and we were eating all kinds of fruits and cereals. We weren't breast fed at all. Only one has a hayfever allergy. I started my kids on solid food early too. They have no allergies either.
