Kyle Busch Goes From Good to Bad in Jeff Burton's Book {Fanhouse Motorsports Blog}
May 31st 2010 8:23PM Restart it a few times right before the one minute mark. It looks to me like Burton dropped down into Busch. Busch had nowhere to go except "stop."
Detroit: Can the once proud Motor City be saved? {Autoblog}
Apr 23rd 2010 8:50PM Oh no! Look what Obama did to Detroit!
In unhappiest U.S. city, one man spreads joy {WalletPop}
Apr 2nd 2010 1:25AM The term "let go" is one that goes way back. I wouldn't be surprised if it has history in some areas that goes farther back than "fired". The fact of the matter is that if you were to use that terminology today when "letting someone go", it would not fare well in today's job industry that maintains records of that sort. The military doesn't "let you go", they discharge you. Work on a ranch for a few years until they go bankrupt? They'll let you go. Most folks unfamiliar with this terminology are no doubt union-responsible, for a union would demand a more definitive description of a termination to satisfy rights and legal paperwork. Personally, being let go is a very respectful way to verbally relay to someone that they are no longer needed, what with rumors and gossip and that sort of thing in the organized work area. The Union can handle the details.
Octomom's Bizarre Appearance on 'The View' (VIDEO) {Inside TV Blog}
Feb 27th 2010 7:01AM Why did they put her right in the middle? Sheesh... They should've put Johnny Depp in that spot. He'd of handled 'em, lol. "That isn't any of your business." ROFL!
You Must Watch This: Mike Tyson on Italian 'Dancing With The Stars' {AOL TV}
Feb 10th 2010 10:52PM I care. Thank you for the heads up. I wouldn't have known he wasn't a contestant otherwise. I thought he was so broke that he had to start wandering to other countries to find anyone that would audition him. Now we know :) For the record, I thought he did a pretty good job. I sure can't dance.
Palin photographer breached contract with sale to Newsweek {Daily Finance}
Nov 18th 2009 4:45PM Hey, let's put a picture of the governor of California, right after a shirtless session of weightlifting, on the cover of Newsweek and see if that's sexist or sexy.
Folks, she's pretty. I think she's hot, and I would empty the trash in her office building. If that gets her to the top like it did the terminator, then let them play. He's doing just fine. He hasn't blown anything up yet and neither has she, and that's what counts.
I think that for the most part almost everyone does agree one one thing. She needs to learn how to play ball and stop blaming the short-stop.
Rush Limbaugh, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the Rams: Should the NFL be Renamed the 'National Liberal League'? {Politics Daily}
Oct 14th 2009 1:53PM I like Limbaugh because he knows less about politics than I do (sarcasm, of course). I think he's interesting in that naive, ignorant, roll your eyes because this guy is an idiot kind of way. He's entertaining, kind of like "The Weekly World News" or "The National Enquirer". But do you know what? When are these one-sided, thoughtless, inconsiderate morons going to learn that this country is trying to do away with bringing up race every time the desire to explain something useless overcomes them? In a hundred years, people of history like this guy are going to be viewed in the same way as some of the others that are being exposed. Columbus and Andrew Jackson are only two that immediately come to mind. It's time to stop this, right now. I'm not a follower of Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, but by golly, they are doing everything they can to make sure the people in this country are treated fairly, and some day those are the ones who are going to be remembered for finally bringing this country together. Not these mindless, babbling talkshow stooges who have no concern for anything except believing that their own opinion is indisputable. You just mark my words.
4-Year-Old Channels Kurt Russell's 'Miracle' Speech {ParentDish}
Oct 6th 2009 6:33AM This is exactly why it isn't any of anyone's business what you do with your kid. What if it had been The Lion King? How many folks have made their kids watch "Knott's Landing" like a million times? Or some other show that you critics do approve of? As for "what ever happened to science, literature, or cartoons, it's still there. If that's what interests you and yours, then you should pursue that and stop interfering with the time that belongs to others.
Toby Keith Likens Kanye West Debacle to an Assault {The Boot}
Sep 19th 2009 7:33AM I saw his movie and have heard his music. I'm no country fan. Technically, had the incident never occurred, I would have held the same opinions about both of them.
Not any more.
Kanye Being Kanye: Rapper Interrupts Taylor Swift's VMAs Win {PopEater}
Sep 14th 2009 5:51AM If he could have slapped her and gotten away with it, he sure looked like he would have been willing to. If not, too late, lots of folks see him that way after this sporatic, drug-induced outburst. Why do you need sunglasses indoors? Obviously not because you are shy, and you ain't blind, either.
