Why should I, who had 2 kids, be responsible for paying for the education of some m mega family. Not to mention the environmental costs. If you don't think these losers' decisions affect us all, you are just not paying attention. Sad, really.

Mar 20th 2009 10:09AM Buying from a reputable breeder (not a puppy mill) doeyos NOT promote puppy mills; it promotes responsible breeding. I buy my dogs from people who carefully research the parents, run appropriate health checks and give appropriate care. And it works. My oldest dog is 13 and is vigorous and great health. Why animal rights groups think that it is a virtue to "adopt" an animal in questionable health from a shelter is beyond me. That just promotes back yard breeding.

Mar 19th 2009 10:25AM Oprah would have been better off buying from a reputable breeder, not being pressured by the so called "animal rights" people to get a dog of uncertain origins and health from a shelter. I love my dogs, I want them to live long and happy lives. I will only get dogs from breeders who have health checked the parents and care about the future of the breed.

In any event, I don't like Biden much, although not necessarily for the reason you think. I just think he is remarkably politically tone deaf (he and his wife) for someone who has been in Congress since he was 28. On the plus side, he isn't Sarah Palin.
