at their graduation with a cane, so that dream is over (I am always
glad to see kids, but as soon as I turn, my heart hurts!)

Oct 1st 2010 9:19AM Wow! Bravo Jenna! I have a similar story to tell! Except it was a car accident,
and a long time ago (1975, to be exact!). I was a Senior at McGill University,
Montreal (Canada). I wasn't driving, but our driver was exeeding the speed limit
by 25 MPH (outside of Montreal, the 12th of December! Not smart!). We crashed, I got a concussion on the right side of my skull. But (God) was watching over me (some would say it was luck, you choose). 5 weeks of complete coma ensued. When I awoke, my right side was almost completely
paralysed. It took me years to come back (with Physio/Psycho-therapy), but I
survived, And I'm HAPPY! (My dream of being an African Wilderness Veterinarian will never materialize, but I'm o.k. with that!) -Francois
