Apr 19th 2010 1:35AM LMAOL. I agree with the fact this guy deserves ALL the law can give him. NOBODY should ever hit a woman and even less, take a life.
However, what amazes me is the amount of politics involved in everyone's comments.
Funny thing is here in USA even the presidents have commited crimes, ranking from genocide to unlawful sex and people just forgive them without any remorse. Ah! And dont forget some criminals like Mike Tyson, O.J. and all others getting CONSTATLY HEAVILY involved with drugs, murder, etc. But they not only count with the help from the goverment to be free but also with the support from the same people that comments here.
I'm not in favor of Chavez, or any goverment for that matters. I strongly believe ANY goverment just look for their OWN personal interests and no for the people they sopposedly represents. But one thing I'm clear, we humans are just full of BS and we just follow like cows without really looking into our own mistakes.
Want to be fair, wnat to talk fair? Look at your own house then talk bad about others'

Where in the librarian job description shows he/she is demanded to babysit?
Come on! I'm sure you wouldn't do it either.
Besides, if something happen to that child who would be responsible? The library? the librarian? or the mother for neglecting providing the proper care?

Mar 30th 2010 10:32PM Well, this is a case of what I call "Parenting disorder" . First of all, it's clear that is not in the "librarian" job description to take care of children or ANY person they are there to make sure people follow the library rules and to keep the books, etc in order. So why to get upset about her answer? Doesn't the parents of any child know that you should NEVER leave your child unattended?
NO MATTER where you are, where you go it's YOUR child it's YOUR responsability.
Just think for a moment: if the librarian accepts and something (no matter how minor it is) happen to this child wouldn't this irresponsible, lazy mother will sue not only the library itself but also the city, the goverment, the librarian in question?
So... Hope you (and her if she reads this) get my point!
I don't even ask anybody to take care of my dog, so how to even think of leaving alone my child!
Only in America we hear about stories like this and then we blame others for our own mistakes....

Feb 23rd 2010 12:39AM Amazing how the media plays an important role in our lives! They can build or destroy almost anybody! Come on people! Those who are free of sins thorw the first rock!!!! How many people had committed more hedious crimes and the media doesn't cause so much stirr!
Bottom line: Tiger Woods is a man, an human being, like ANYBODY ELSE! Has virtues, imperfections, makes mistakes and have the right to correct them in the manner fits him and HIS FAMILY the best! Why the media has to put so much preassure? Why the have to dictate how famous people live their lives?

Jan 18th 2010 12:15AM Funny how the "race" card is thrown every where nowdays... Why feel offended? On the contrary if you look into the bright side he is trying to sneak in.. so that means it's better than wher he came from, right? In other words the TV commmercial just trying to say it's better to play in Mexico than in America... Isn't that what happens during spring break anyways? Isn't bettter to go to Mexico for vacations an other forms of deversion? And nobody complaints when the $$$$ are coming to their pockets...I think (like black people) Mexicans (and we, Hispanics) in general we are more racists than those we call racists... As a matter of fact, we are racists among ourselves. I'm not propperly accepted by Mexicans for being South American, go figures... Bottom line: The TV commercial is hillarious, if you don't like it or consider it offensive then just don't watch it, period!
I'm sure you consider this offensive but feed your children with "South Park" "The Simpsons" "Family Guy" Playboy magazines" and that's considered okey, give me a break!

Yes! Unfortunately this is not just the American way, this is the Human way! That's why even thou the planet has enough resources to support ALL living creatures we monopolize this resources sell them very expensive to the weaker, create and rise taxes and..if any opposed we call them which, traitor, or terrorist.. probelm resolved!

Dec 23rd 2009 8:53PM Well... Is it surprising? Haven't we HUMANS thorughout history "conquer" by power, fear and destruction over weaker (or naive) races? Haven't we taking what's not rightful ours under the concept of "Holy" crusade or just pure greedy?
I lve this movie, as well as "The day the Earth still still" "Distric 9" "Lord of war" and similar... not only for their action and FX but for the message enclosed into the script.
Unfortunately we have been extremedly brainwashed by the political propaganda, media and goverment statements not to see the reality.
Yes, we, humans, have been destroying our own home EARTH and killing our own people following the greed of few....

And if we are going to think about moral then look closely to the music, cartoons (Like The Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, etc) Aired on prime time on regular television completely easy to acces to those children the author of this article claim to care about! How about all the other TV shows (True Blood), Movies (Transformers II The scene with the girl in Daisy Duke's shorts!!!) and music that only promotes sex, drugs and disrespectful manners!!!
