Sep 29th 2009 8:20PM I have been watching Guiding Light for nearly 5o years and really resent the fact that you saw fit to remove one of the classic soaps of all time and replace it with a game show??? Come on now...we are satuaated with reality and game shows and sports events and don't need another one crammed down our throats. Didn't you ever hear of 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it?' Do you have any idea how many of us who are stuck at home really feel about this? Of course you probably could care less, but I and many of my friends and relatives (lots and lots of them) just shut of the TV altogether at 2 pm and don't turn it on again 'til the evening shows. Wonder who the genius is that that implemented that mentally challenged faux pas???? Get your act together. You need to have your own sports channel and leave the regular programs alone. You need to realize that MEN and sports freaks (sports are good, but not when folks are forced to give up regular viewing habits to satisfy a special group) are not the only ones who watch TV. How would you like it if we pre empted all your sports shows with our soaps and game shows??? We are not second class citizens and resent being dismissed as such.

Summer 2007 Looks Sweet! {Cinematical}

Aug 13th 2006 2:31AM I haven't been to a movie in 5 years, with the exception of Passion of the Christ and a Harry Potter Movie that is pure evil witchcraft.Your writers need to get back in touch with reality. You can't seem to find one that isn't either obsessed with sex or violence or horror. And we wonder why our kids are committing suicide, killing each other and raping the girls who are dressing in outfits that are so skimpy they are doing nothing but advertising for it! Isn't anyone intelligent enough to remember the 'great' movies? They could be viewed in mixed company without being embarrassed. How about that! Hollywood needs to get it's act together and if they want to insert cuss words and sex scenes, put them in the disgusting porn stores and not in movies that kids watch or in my living room! Someday you will be held accountable for the damage you have done to the youth of this country.
I pity you. For heaven's sake, find some writers with talent and have the guts to put out an interesting story line minus the rot! Thanks, mp

"Clean" DVDs of Movies Ruled Illegal {Cinematical}

Jul 9th 2006 7:14PM Quite frankly I find that strangers literally exposing themselves and practically having sex in my living room and the use of disgusting language that rather brands an individual as too mentally inept to express him/her self using plain English, is extremely offensive. If a writer's talent is so minimal that he/she is unable to get a point across using language and art that would be acceptable to show a 5 year old, then get out of the business! You have no talent!
What it boils down too... If your so called intelligence resides behind your zipper or under your thong and your burning desire is to be in the porn business...GET OUT OF MY LIVING ROOM! Most of the TV shows that I thought I would enjoy because of the actors/actresses, have become so disgusting with their inuendos and the raunchy talk they use to the CHILDREN on their shows are so totally unacceptable that I and my family and friends no longer watch them!
Point in case: Raymond was fun when he first started..then he got raunchy. We shut him off. Same with 2 men and a boy. They should be ashamed of themselves.The way they talk to and in front of that child is sick!

I used to think that Neal Harris was such a cute nice actor. Then he got on that 'How I Met your Mother' show and has joined the rest of the slime...How sad.
Yes, there is filth and 4 letter words and illicet sex and all kinds of offensive thngs in this world, but I don't have to have ANY of it dumped in my home. And I know a lot of people who feel this way. The actors and actresses who accept these roles should remember.THEY will be accountable for any negative influence they have, especially on a youthful audience. THINK! If you think there is no GOD and you can do anything you want whether or not it hurts or offends anyone, and tomorrow you die and discover there IS A GOD, Whoops! Then what!? Have a good life! And may God bless you with just a tad of wisdom!
