Sep 26th 2008 10:20PM What a load of crap. Just because a woman is with an older man doesn't mean she's after his money. I'm personally married to a wonderful guy who is 12 years older than I am. We've been married for 8 years and money never had anything to do with it. I made my own money before I met him and still do today. I don't sit at home and let my husband make all the money, I have my own career that I absolutely enjoy, I'm not suddenly becoming pregnant to keep him around, in fact we don't want or have any kids. Should we decide to divorce,not that it will ever happen, I don't want anything of his including his money. I am actually very offended that one could stereotype all women who have older spouses as gold diggers. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I'm just saying that not all of us are like that. We always hear about the high profile splits that involve large amounts of money and women obviously gold digging, but we never hear of the ordinary people who are in these relationships with spouses that are much older. Just something to think about.
