May 23rd 2011 6:50PM Such a lot of outrage expressed over this infidelity and not one letter expressing outrage of Arnie's unforgivable behavior in pardoning a murderer who happens to be the son of a friend of his.
May 20th 2011 8:41AM I'm with you. Apart for a very few names that I recognize - who are these people and why are they celebrities?
May 12th 2011 1:37PM I don't suppose it ever occurred to those politicians that the ones you need to worry about aren't obvious about their filming. This law will only lead to friction among those who have a legitimate reason for filming, but make someone else mad.
Apr 2nd 2011 9:16AM We could have cheap fares AND safety if the executives didn't constantly push for increased profits from markets that don't support them for money to put in their own pockets. The labor cost advantage realized by any company that outsources isn't passed on to consumers. The practice inflates these companies bottom line without regard to the effects on the marketplace and society in general.
Mar 25th 2011 6:27PM Well, we need not look further to find our where the bad bullying banter starts. Lopez will shrug this off with a "can't you take a joke." Perhaps it would register with him if someone called him, a fat, pock-marked, chauvinist pig of a man. Do you think he would think for at least a few seconds before he shoots off his mouth with insults at someone who is not bothering him. But then in the true spirit of a bully big mouth anything for a lauch, right?
Mar 24th 2011 2:11AM C'mon! Do a little reading! Monsanto has been cornering the market on GM science for decades and you want to lay it off on Obama? I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure it goes back at least as far as Reagan, and the research has probably been going on longer than that. Going ahead and make Obama your target for legitimate reasons, (vacationing while THREE wars are raging, unemployment is rampant, and the economy is still collapsing) but you lose credibility when you want to blame him for everything in recorded history.
Mar 24th 2011 2:04AM The impetus behind GM strains is that the plants are not capable of reproducing organically, and because Monsanto has patents on the seeds, you have to go back to Monsanto for every crop every season. It's what happens when the government allows big corporations to become monopolies. Has anyone tried to grow plants from the seeds of the produce bought in a grocery store> I had some really hearty canteloupe vines that flowered, attracted bees, but didn't produce a single mellon from about 200 blossoms. Whether it's irradiation or genetic modification, they've got us by the short ones to a great extent.
Mar 22nd 2011 11:09AM Their just setting up a case for leniency for Lindsay, due to her turbulent upbringing. It's a strategy, not a condition.
Mar 13th 2011 12:07PM With all the toys that can be made or bought, this goof encourages playing with food? Putting aside the fact that junk food pushers market their "snacks" by making them sound and look "fun", very often the most fun a kid can have can be found in a large cardboard box, which can be a fort, a spaceship or any number of locations that can be built in their imagination.
Mar 8th 2011 11:17AM The bonehead, in this case, was the mother. The conductors were saying that the trains must run on time, because of the next electronically scheduled train would be coming along to ram the first one frm behind. This mother is typical of modern "parenting" who assumes that everyone in society recognises that their kid is the Christ child and we're all obligated to cater to the. Lady! YOUR KID, YOUR PROBLEM! Learn some coping strategies before you pull a bonehead stunt that affects everyone else.
