Celebs Who Were Real Spies -- From Sinatra to Disney {Asylum}

Nov 23rd 2008 11:04AM Chris, you didn't miss anything. The list is short and omits many more than it gives. And almost every one has some kind of smart a$$ negative comment at the end, as though the author dislikes patriotism. But that's ok, because these very same kind of people will continue to risk their all so he can continue to freely speak his alleged "mind".

Canada rules obese get second seat free on flights in Canada {WalletPop}

Nov 22nd 2008 5:54PM I have had thyroid problems all my life. I'm 64 now, and weigh 260. The cost of a life time of meds and fighting diabetes doesn't leave much money for me to pay for a WHOLE extra seat when all I need is a few inches. The airlines COULD put a few of the wider seats the use in first and business class toward the rear of the pax cabin for those like me, but then all the "kind souls" commenting here would whine about us getting special treatment or better seating. Not all people are large because of McDonalds. Sports pros, corporate officers and YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS can afford the extra expense. I can't. I have taken to driving more often than flying for the simple reason that I don't have to put up with the ignorant attitudes I see posted here. For most of you be advised: as you age you too will expand. Remember your nastiness here when your time comes and youth talks and treats you the way you treat me.

Hot Seat: Socialism Attacks {Politics Daily}

Oct 21st 2008 10:25PM ONLY IN D.C. WOULD THEY NOT THINK HE IS SOCIALIST!

My wife (white) and I were having dinner with some friends the other day, discussing the election. We have been very hardcore Obama supporters and have donated over one thousand dollars each to his campaign. One of my friends, also an Obama supporter, who I have known since third grade - almost fifty years now, asked me what I would do when I got laid off after Obama raises taxes on my employer; then he asked my wife where she would go for groceries, etc. when WalMart and Food 4 Less shut down their local outlets to pay increased taxes. His wife reminded me that he had almost 15 years seniority with United Air Lines when he was laid off after the 9/11/2001 attacks. I’d listened and laughed at him when he told stories of how United was having money problems before the attacks, but there was nothing funny when they used it as an excuse to let thousands of people go to protect their bottom line. Like it or not, I have to admit what he was saying made a lot of sense. Terrorist attack or increased taxes, it doesn’t matter the cause. Corporations’ number one priority is the bottom line, and they will all do whatever necessary to maintain a healthy one. As much as I hate to say this, I have to rethink my political stance. Still go to pay the bills and feed the kids, and can't do either if I'm out of work or spending what I have for $5.00-$6.00 per gallon gas to drive to where I can afford clothes and food.
