May 20th 2009 1:21AM no she didn't. she did not have the points. she is too young and did not have the finesse. she was just a kid dancing in an adult contest. i don't think it was fair at all but that's what happens when 'reality' show producers cook up the show they want instead of the results that we believe we vote for. DO NOT WASTE VOTES ANYMORE PEOPLE, THEY DON'T COUNT.

May 19th 2009 11:53PM Shawn Johnson did not win that contest. The outcome was totally rigged and I am not a huge conspiracy theorist. But I could see the signs, this has been in the cards for weeks.
Melissa and Gilles were much better, gave more adult sexuality and nuance to their dances. Their grace was amazing. Shawn Johnson is built like a fireplug, is under 18 and had no understanding of what these dances are meant to convey.
Last night Shawn landed hard in her first dance, then later used gymnastic moves, no problem with the judges. Then Melissa used cheer leading moves, she lost points for that. Double standard.
Shawn consistently had LESS points than Melissa and Gilles. Yet, somehow, she won.
I don't believe that someone her age should be allowed to compete in this contest anyway, it should be 21 and older. There are plenty of forums in which younger people can compete, I am tired of all the youth oriented shows. I watched DWTS for adult entertainment, not to watch some kid jump about.
The bias in reality television has been appalling this year because of it's patent in your face blatancy. Carrie Ann drooled so openly over Gilles I was actually embarrassed for her, and on Idol, Katy Perry's Adam cape being allowed, and what was said by judges on the talk show circuit went a long way toward proving bias.
There is no way that Allison got less votes than Kris. NO WAY. Yet, off she went. Idol proved how it was fixed from the beginning, with the bouncing of Kristen McNamara whom COULD actually sing, and keeping of Tatiana for ratings.
Screw reality TV, this is my final season. Don't waste your votes, producers with their own agenda's are really the people who decide, not you. Don't believe me? Google some of Steve Wozniaks early comments on the show until he was silenced. You'll see.

May 14th 2009 5:52PM This is the first year I actually believe that the producers tinker with the show. I mean, now I believe it's happened before too. From Kristen MacNamara being sent home when she is an amazing singer, so they could keep Tatiana just for ratings, to Allison going home (especially after that duet with Adam) and Koma Kris still stays? Bull. I think the producers were also afraid of Church Guy going against Gay Guy for the finale. Read between the lines, FIXED.

May 11th 2009 10:03PM I don't like eminem. I think he's gutter trash. However, black people have plenty of negative things to say about whites, ALL THE TIME. I see black commedians cracking on whites often, difference is, whites laugh. They get the joke. Blacks harken back to slavery, which did not occur under any of OUR lifetimes. They forget too, they were sold into slavery by their own countrymen. Nevertheless, now it's all the white mans fault, and they will never let us forget that. And as with Jaime Foxx, even white females under 18 are fair game. He didn't only unleash an attack on Miley Cyrus invoking VD and drugs, he, or one of his 'buddies' called her a 'white b...tch'. He apologized for some of the comments, but not much has been made of the RACIST part of the attack. No prominent woman of color, including Cyrus's so called friend Tyra Banks, has come out and publicly chastised Foxx. In fact, he was on Banks show lately, and she just about licked him up and down. Disappointed in Tyra, not a very good friend apparently, and not exactly the leader some thought she was. Otherwise, she would have brought up the subject to Foxx during his interview which took up the entire show. Foxx said it was 'comedy', that he is the 'black Howard Stern'. Really? What do YOU think would happen to Howard Stern if he called some young black girl a 'black b...'??? Puleez, this double standard is appalling. Either no one says these kind of things, or everyone can. Same rules should apply to all!~
