Jun 2nd 2010 8:11AM Yes I did. Thus the comment that he would drive 10 minutes between stops. And that would make for a somewhat easer day. Because there is a break between stops to use the AC to cool down. Mileage counts at UPS too. But they try to compact the routs to save Time and Fuel. Guys who work in the area of the Hub are expected to do more stops than guys Or Girls who have to drive 40 minutes to get to there area.

Jun 2nd 2010 12:54AM Oh Christina, FYI my coustomers love me. I do my job every day I do it well and I love my job. I make great Money. I work hard typical day 150 deliverys 40 pickups. I drive a P1000 standard with No AC or Power steering in A Brown uni and truck that is older than me, we also have a 150 pound limit, At Christmas time some drivers get helpers not all of us. And when we do we are expected to do 250 stops in ten hours, That is 25 stops and hour. I was not saying you do not work hard. I'm sure you do. But the lead artical said what was it 60 70 stops a day? And I pointed out I do that before Noon.

Jun 1st 2010 8:02PM Christina You want to compare driviing 10 minutes between stops to being expected to do one very 3 minutes. It is a lot tougher on the body getting in and out with boxes 170 times a day. Than 70 and sitting for a while in between. It's like comparing Apples and Oranges
