Feb 18th 2011 1:21PM The reason the NFL is so great is the salary cap, it promotes fairness and keeps the league balanced. Do the players need more money..... hell yeah.... the average player lasts about 5 years and has lifetime injuries, some of the greatest players endings are inexcusable and the union and owners are both wrong and need to change.The rookie salary is the very first thing that needs changed.....no rookie should make more than a proven veteran, they should have a base scale startup and then If they pan out as a player then let the coffers fill.18 games is great.... but the pre-season is a joke and shouldn't even happen

He demanded the shots.......it was his game and he held all the dice.... the doc was doing as the king of pop demanded...more,more,more. I am glad he died now before his kids had to play the "special" game with daddy. His kids won't have to go through life wondering if they were good enough of a kiddies meal for the freak. Nov 26th 2008 8:17AM I remember back to the days when HATING the Browns was worth the effort..... then they got stolen and sent to Ballsnomore. Now they are just another NFL expansion team. I really miss the old Browns.
