Iranian aircraft crash caught on new video {Gadling}
Jun 4th 2011 1:19PM How do people like you continue to exist? You are so scorched and mis-directed by the Bull uttered by Dems, that you truly show you have taken leave of your senses. IF it had not been for Pres. Reagan, we would have had to deal with their incursion into atomic bombs, and the like, a long time ago. If it weren't for Dems in leadership positions we would still be the world's greatest country, afraid of no one and bowing to no one.

Jun 4th 2011 1:12PM At what point did you believe the aircraft being re-fueled was U.S.? Please note there are no U.S. Markings on either wing. This is probably one of the many F-4's we mistakenly gave Iran "back in the day". There is no way to tell that the refueler is a C-130. Finally, the aircraft that fell to earth was blown from the skies, either by internal device or by accurate fire of a missle. Note the rear section of the craft "going up in smoke" just before it plummeted in a death spiral. None of us will ever know the full truth of what happened.
Public School Bans Lunches from Home {Slashfood}
Apr 13th 2011 7:54PM At what point in a school officials life does he or she have the right to order anything but teaching and testing (and, maybe some behavior ) activities of my kid? Never, that's what point. If I am doing a bad job making lunch for my child, call me in to the office for a discussion of how you feel but don't you dare enter into my job as the parent - ever! Your freakin' nanny crap is surely going to bring down a lot more than the government is already bringing down.

Apr 13th 2011 7:45PM How wonderful! Mom may pack a few goodies not on the Nannie's list of good things to eat, but at least most Moms who pack a lunch for their kids care more for the kids than the School District does. Mom, sneak into the caf at lunch one day and demand that you be allowed to sample the swill they are feeding to these poor kids. It don't look good; it don't smell good, and, it surely don't taste good (Please excuse the bad language - it was written that way so that the Nannies who made up this practice would be able to read and understand my offering). It is swill material, only, folks. Rise up and fight this bull crap. The government does not own you, nor does it own your children. Do not let them take over in this area!

Mar 5th 2011 1:17PM Suzey - So What! What business is it, of yours, what they eat; how they look; what food they buy, etc? Seriously, do you suffer from Nanny Disease? It is none of your business, period!

Mar 5th 2011 1:11PM Dewey - your statement is like so much of your last name. The government IS telling you what to eat and not eat. They are chipping away at your liberties, inch by inch. If it were only a suggestion, they would not have issued regulations to all school districts about what can be within 1/4 mile of the school and what can't (food sources and types). Also, who the hell are you to tell me whether my weight is too much, or not too much? I am guaranteed the inalienable right to the "pursuit of happiness". If that be food, then so be it. By the way, "inalienable" means "cannot be taken away". That is one thing this administration, and, it seems YOU, have no clue about.

Mar 5th 2011 1:00PM Question posed: Do I think the Obama Administration's efforts are valid? In a word, no! The two of them, and his administration, remind me, very much, of the innkeeper, his wife, and all the drunkards/partiers, in the musical Les Miz. Obama, his wife and administration, were rewarded with the best job in the world and they have no idea what to do with it. They are all in over their heads and we, the public, will suffer for it for decades to come. None of your children (or very few, for sure) will know the comfort and joy of a truly prosperous nation. Many of you will think that statement to be racist, or too extreme, or some other form of denial-making thought process. Wrong. The only racists in this country, right now, are the administration, and the leader, and his wife. Your zeal for them, right now, does not allow you to recognize that fact, but you will, in time. But, by that time it will be too late to cure immediately and much time will be necessary - more time than most of us have left in this world. So, good luck, all, as you wade through the depths of what awaits you in the future. Not now, but someday in the future, the most intelligent of you will think back and say, "OMG - he was right."

Mar 5th 2011 12:44PM Wow - how fun! OK, here it is: Michelle Obama does not have the right to TELL people what to eat, or not eat. Suggestion is fine - ordering is not fine. So, let's get to the meat (oops, sorry for the unintentional pun) of the matter. No matter whether she is telling, or suggesting, it is her responsibility to not maintain a system of double standards - namely, she must live what she says. She does not do so, that is recorded fact. Therefore, her advice or orders are definitely not legitimate.
What Your Body Language Says About You {AOL Jobs}
Jan 30th 2011 9:49AM C'mon people. Have things become that bad since I was forced into retirement? OMG - someone who has the capacity to hire someone is actually spending all that time trying to interpret body actions? I must have a been a real weirdo, then. I interviewed; I researched prior employment history (if the person had been around long enough to have a history); but, most decisions to hire or not hire were based solely on presentation of their replies to my questions and overall bearing during the interview. I, instinctively, knew by the end of the interview whether or not the applicant would succeed. I always tried to hire my replacement and/or my boss down-the-road. It was a great method and worked quite well as, indeed, I did end up working for a couple young men hired by me ten to fifteen years prior. One became CEO whilst I was an Executive VP. Get out of the HR bubble and start using reality, logic and common sense to perform your hiring or managerial duties. Let instinct make a big comeback in the workplace and see for yourselves how much more productivity and satisfaction of effort comes back into the workplace.
Cover Letter Checklist: 7 Steps to Better Cover Letters {AOL Jobs}
Dec 1st 2010 9:14AM Same problem we had in the late 80's and all of the 90's. Somebody gave HR way more power than they were logically able to handle and they exploded. I have never had, nor will I ever have, any real trust or belief in HR departments. Too many are filled with folks with very little training and say too bloated egos. The sad part is that one need not know anything about business to be in the business of working in HR. That is the real problem.
