Jun 19th 2009 3:16PM Every year we take 35 to 50 underprivilided kids from the Portland, Ionia, Muir area somewhere for a day of fun they otherwisw would not have. I grew up in Portland and love my memories.

As a retired military officer I'm absolutely outraged that this stupid woman does not have enough common sense to see the error in their coporate agenda. SHE SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY not becasue she wanted this disabled soldier to pay but because she is not smart enough to have and facilitate the responsibility of operating a park like this.

I can and have done only one thing. I have removed "Michigan Adventure" from the list of acceptable place for these kids to go. we never ask for discounts becasue of our numbers but we DEMAND places that represent the best interests of the community.

You good people in GR should run her out of town on a rail. She's a disgrace to the community

There are only things wrong with AOL. Everything they do and EVERYTHING THE SAY IN PRINT not to mention those dumb a$$es they call customer service people. "ZERO CREDIABILITY" and to think for "NO SERVICE we are allowed to pay money.

HE'S A LITTLE MAN WITH A HUGE EGO THAT WRITES CHECKS WITH HIS MOUTH IS A$$ CAN'T CASH WITHOUT SOMEONE LIKE THE PRESIDENT AROUND TO PROTECT HIM. MY SUSPISION ARE THAT HE WILL EITHER SELF-DESTRUCT VERY QUICKLY OR BE FORCEABLE REMOVED. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHERS IN THE OBAMA ADMONISTRATION THAT WILL FIND DIFFICULTIES IN SENATE CONFIRMATION. DOING WHAT IT TAKES TO PROTECT ANY PRESIDENT IS DIFFICULT AND ALWAYS IN A STATE OF FLUX. IN THIS CASE I WOULD SUGGEST THE PRESIDENTS SECRET SERVICE TEAM WILL BE 2 TO 3 TIMES THE USUAL SIZE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. THE FALLOUT FROM THAT ADDITIONAL PROTECTION WILL ALSO HELP THOSE CLOSEST TO HIM. I PERSONALLY AM VERY CONCERNED. oBAMA WOULD APPEAR TO BE A MAN TO IS GENUINELY INTERESTED IN THE WELFARE OF THE PEOPLE AND IS COMING EVERY DAY CLOSER TO UNDERSTANDING THAT THE GOOD PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES KNOW ABOUT FREEDOM, THE COST AND ARE WILING TO FIGHT TO THE DEATH FOR THEIR COUNTRY. WHILE I SINCERELY BELIEVE HE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME A GREAT PRESIDENT MY CONCERN CENTERS AROUND THE RADICAL LEFT THAT MAY NOT ALLOW HIM TO FUNCTION AT PEAK PERFORMANCE LEVELS, IF AT ALL.

I SINCERELY BELIEVE PEOPLE LIKE NANCY POLICI, HARRY REID AND BARNEY FRANK HAVE COMMITED CRIMINAL FRAUD AND SHOULD BE TRIED UNDER THE "RICO STATUES" WITH ADDITIONAL CHARGES OF "TRESON" AGAINST THE UNITED STATES. I FURTHER BELIEVE THEY CONTRIVED AND CAUSED TO HAPPEN THE PLANNED FAILURE TO FANNY AND FREDDY AS A DOMINO EFFECT CREATING THE GOLBAL FINANCIAL COLLASPE. They are just regular young ladies 12, 14, and 17 who feel Disney continues to as they call it STEP OVER THE LINE OF GOOD TASTE turning these young stars into nothing more than SEX OBJECTS by money hungry Corporations and Parents. My mother bought the 2 young ones Hanna Montanna shirtds and they made no bones about it with Grandma. Please return them! Total SHOCKED and actually pleased Mom did and gave the girls each $20 to purchase something they would rather have. They each bought an article of clothing that didn't make them look like (the little one said) sleeze bags. Friday night our oldest attends a Country Club dance in a $400 dress she bought and paid her half for because that's what she wanted. Jamming this sexually explicit, trasy looking stuff down the throats of the young Consumer won't fly much longer. The younger generation seems a bit more refined and intelligent that past couple generations. You have turned (for example) Miley Cyrus into a little tramp for fame and profit. I hear all you rocket scientist telling everybody things we already know but I have seldom seen any body step up with ideas that have some merit. Kennedy said it "WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY" Hey it is real SIMPLE if you don't like it hear LEAVE like some many of the wealthy Americans are doing and taking there job creating money with them to more work friendly enviroments. STOP buying from companies who abuse their employees and sell bad product. Educate yourself and your children to be the best you can be then go the extra mile. PRIDE and SELF-RESPECT are enormous confidence builders. Seeing that pay check that you earned and knowing that if your work hard and smart you don't need the government to hold your hand while you slowly self-destruct and they become your answer to everything. There is "NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH" I hope you hold the people you choose to run our country ACCOUNTABLE becasue very very few of the promises will ever be realized in a positive way that encourages grow freedom of choice.

Better ask an INTEIIGENT YOUTH not most of these kids today whose MINDLESS FAUTER is trashing the airways like the almost broke "snAIR America". I've seen some of the work this so called scholar has done. She might try injecting a tiny bit of common sense to go along with all the Baloney she's shoveling and find a real job. Not attractive enough to fit the profile to a big time anchor

As for the rest accept Cambell Brown I see a lot of pretty faces and not a whole lot of talent journalist or otherwize.

Campbell - I hope you have a happy healthy baby and have the brains to stay home and be a Mom because you sure as heck are no journalist. One ounce of common sense is worth 5 years of all the experiences you have accept when you don't use it. Beatuiful women in the News were the topic of conversation at a Marine base in NC not long ago. You ranked in the top 5 Men and women alike were disappointed someone so pretty had such liberal views of so many important topics and they decided that you were just another pretty face with little or no idea of the reality of the real world.
