Olive Garden Gets A Makeover {Slashfood}

Apr 1st 2011 1:06PM I had an exchange student with me for a month. We laughed when I took him to Olive Garden since he is from Italy. He said the food was excellant and just like in Italy. Was amazed at the polite way the servers acted. I have never had a bad meal there, although depending on location, some a bit better than others. And my exchange student said he would take me to McDonald"s when I came to Italy. lol...

77-Year-Old Crossing Guard Makes Jujitsu History {Asylum}

Jul 7th 2010 9:47PM I agree that karate is not an offensive art. In the style (Shou
shu) there are only 3 offensive moves. the rest are defensive and we learn to walk away and use our skill as a last resort. I gained my black belt at the age of 71 and worked 10 yrs to get it. I learned slower than the kids, but they all helped and encouraged me every step of the way. My black belt test was hard, but all my instructors were there for me to cheer me on. For one who has not studied karate in any form, you have no way of knowing what it is like. You lhave to experience it. I now teach women of all ages self defense for free. We have fun and the husbands are always impressed with the results. For a child to step in in defense of another, is the right thing to do.

Bridal Debate -- Would You Wear a Red Dress on Your Wedding Day? {Lemondrop}

Jun 9th 2010 1:12PM I really don't think the bride's virginity or lack thereof is any one's business. Wear whatever color you like. One of my grand children had a black and white wedding and it was lovely. So go for it brides. it's YOUR day and if the groom is cool with it, no one else really matters. They can stay home if they don't like it.
