Enough and then some of letting children act out their problems and making those around them have to suffer. This family should definitely be made to move, and the brat should be taught manners, if not one way, then by any means necessary.

Dec 17th 2010 8:00PM So glad there are a lot of smart, compassionate posters giving out the right information, which is that, as companion animals are beloved family members, it is really a decision best left to the person/family and not one to be presented as a gift. The voucher idea is good for those recipients who are wanting to add to their family in this way and obviously, not for anyone else. I also encourage those contemplating this to visit shelters, sanctuaries, rescue groups and/or "breed" rescues when adopting your next cat or kitten; and also I encourage adoption of ADULT cats, and MULTIPLE cats, who are every bit as wonderful as kittens but more calm and adjusted, and very loving and social.

She's beautiful either way, but the "before" is by far a lovelier look; the "after" looks exactly like what the headline states: a soccer mom.

Nov 29th 2010 5:27PM I pray the otter is going to remain safe -- in almost any instance when humans are ignorant enough to get too close to members of other species who are just living their God-given lives as intended, they pay the price. This kid seems nice -- I pray he and everyone around him is nice, and intelligent and compassionate enough to realize HE encroached on the otter's territory. Gavin Maxwell's RING OF BRIGHT WATER trilogy gives a lot of insight into otters, and one man's caring about them. I encourage everyone out there to read it.
