Jun 22nd 2010 9:47AM Be very careful of any doctor that recommends surgery on your back. Mine did, after a year of unbearable pain he treated with drugs. I refused his call for surgery and I did accupuncture, 9 treatments, and that was 15 yrs ago. No problems since then, and I maintain my back and body with yoga. MDs do not know everything, and they are so bought into western medicine philosophy of drugs and surgery that they often do more harm than good.

May 25th 2010 11:32PM What did we win in Iraq? Elections were months ago and they cannot form a government. Sectarian violence is escalating rapidly. The majority of the population is more aligned with Iran than the US. And terrorists are gaining a foothold. There were many Americans who predicted this fiasco and urged a different course and we were called every unspeakable name in the book. Sorry, there is no winning in Iraq.
