Judge Uses Duct Tape to Silence Defendant {Asylum}
Sep 2nd 2009 6:16AM Just another example of how the judges in the US have gotten out of hand. What happen to rights like the right to free speech? And the right to a fair trial, which includes telling your side of the story. These judges think they own the Courts, but they don't. They are EMPLOYEES of the people. In what job can an employee tell an employer to shut up and even forcibly prevent that person from speaking. This is nothing more than assault and battery and the judge and his bailiff should be criminally charged!!! We need to get back to what the Supreme Court ruled in the early 1900s. That a judge who violates the rights of a party has committed fraud against the State and the parties and has committed treason against the Constitution. Instead the people have allowed them to illegally give themselves immunity from criminal charges even though this violates the same Constitution they took an oath to uphold. Oh well, I guess since there is equal protection under the law then we have the same right to give ourselves immunity as they have given themselves!
Underwire bra dispute causes woman to miss her flight {Gadling}
Apr 4th 2009 1:37AM I used to love to fly. Now it is such a hassle to even get to the plane that I would rather drive to where I have to go. The airline industry and the government have become over paranoid, and they are making the public the same way.
If terrorists really want to attack us they are going to do it regardless of what we do. Look at 911. Right after the attacks it was reported on world news that the French government had several of the people that were supposed to be involved in custody prior to the attacks. They notified the FBI about the planned attacks and yet it still went forth.

Feb 10th 2009 1:50AM People need to realize that not all overweight people are that way by choice. There are a number of things that can cause weight gain. Genetic disorders, such as Prader-Willi Syndrome. Drugs like Prednisone and estrogen replacement therapy drugs can also cause weight gain. Hypothyroidism is another cause, which in on the rise with exposure to environmental estrogens, and chlorine and fluoride in our water systems. All of these compounds interfere with proper thyroid function. So should the individuals that are overweight for reasons beyond their control be charged for a second seat?
Maybe they should charge for a second seat for obnoxious jerks that look for reasons to judge others for problems beyond their control. After all, who would want to sit next to any of these jerks? Maybe they should charge extra for those with offensive body odor, again even if this beyond their control. How about charging extra for those who wear perfume or cologne since it is usually too much and many people have sensitivities. Where should we draw the line?
I hope she wins her suit against the airlines big time!!! And I seriously hope that people wake up to the fact that this is discrimination because it may just be them one of these days and I am sure they will think it is unfair when it happens to them.
