Dec 15th 2005 7:03PM To Kim & Kelly, who posted under Lillo Brancato's other news story (this story is the update....)....you both are dealing with drug addicts...and have the nerve to tell me that I am the addict and never watched a loved one use drugs.....well, after I stopped, my husband did not. He died in front of me and our son. So please, do not ever tell me "not to post here ever again"....or your statement "I presume that you never experienced a love one who used drugs"....HAH...stop posting TO ME...you do not, and never will, know me....THANK GOD.....And the woman whose son is having problems, I am really sorry, as I do know what it is like.....I and my sons suffered through his abusive, drug induced rages as he demanded more money and tore the house apart for drugs. It was awful. I am SO glad that part of my life is over. Your agony is just starting. Anyway, I am sick of talking about this and am sick of hearing about stupid ass Lillo and the cop who should have just stayed in frigging bed. This is one of those situations where you just wish you could go back in time and do things over. I am SO GLAD it is not me, I already had that day and I never want to have it again.

We, yes we, as I was one and will always be one, had ALL the power. I made the decision to get high. I made the decision to stop. When a junkie is good and goddamn ready then the party ends. It is not a disease....cancer is a disease. I sometimes want to get high, but I think of all the bad that goes with it and realize it is not worth it. The day your son realizes the same will be the day he will stop, and not a day sooner. Do not baby him, as much as you want to as his mother. It will not help him, it will enable him to abuse your love for him. I may sound hard, but the things that go with the drug life are hard. I never killed a cop, though. I robbed banks. Gunless. Alone. And I did time, as I had to pay for my crimes. So do not tell me I do not understand, Kim. Every single person who gets high, when they are with another user, will ADMIT that they know goddamn well what they are doing, that they are not powerless, that they just WANT to get high, that they love it and it feels good. They forget at that moment the bad that goes with it. It is not a disease...that was made up recently by some medical board member who didn't know shit. When a user is trying to get over on a non-user, they give them the "I can't control it" story. Yeah, while you are cracked-out or doped-up, you only want more, but you know FULL WELL what you are doing. You aren't insane. I may sound harsh, but it is reality. The day your son realizes and remembers all the bad that goes with the great warmth of getting high, is the day he will stop the shit. And not a day sooner. Do not baby him....he knows you love him and a junkie abuses that to get high. A junkie is a very selfish person while getting high. You don't care about anyone but yourself. I know it is hard to watch someone you love go through it, but turn away and let him fall. Trust me, he won't like falling and he will get back up.

Dec 14th 2005 5:06PM To Kim & Kelly.......Let me get one thing straight....I DO know firsthand what a junkie is (junkie=addict). Don't you even begin to preach to me that I have no understanding. I lived with drug addiction for over 10 years. You are a junkie...addicted to junk. Basic simple truth. Neither Brancato nor his partner in crime, pistol-packing Armento, deserve any sympathy. When you are once starring opposite DeNiro and then are crawling through a window of someone else's apartment attempting to steal his drugs, you have hit bottom. If he wasn't once in the movies people would not give two shits about him. Junkies will continue to abuse the sympathy extended to them until THEY are good and ready to get off their ass and stop getting high. Just because he is now facing second degree murder charges everyone is "Aw, poor guy"...stop feeling sorry for him. I am sure he knew goddamn well his buddy was packing. when you carry a gun, it means you will use it. It just so happened it was used on a cop. He was off duty but went to see, as it was a neighbors house. I hope the people who feel he should have stayed in bed experience a situation and instead of an off duty cop coming to help, they just stay in bed and call 911. Instead of feeling sorry for some guy who had things HANDED to him....instead of being raised in Columbia as a "street urchin" (ever hear of the orphans in Columbia?), he has two nice people adopt him, gets the chance of an actors dream to STAR opposite DeNiro in his first film...just because he doesn't GET the A1 roles "makes him want to reach for a drink or smoke" ....please, spare me. He didn't have to work for it, he expected it easy. Let's be realistic....he wasn't that great of an actor to begin with, he only looked like DeNiro and passed as an actor enough to get the role. So he started getting high and partying. A couple bags of dope turns into a monster habit. Now he starts looking bad, nodding out, becomes unreliable since if he isn't high he cannot work. Needs to get straight first. Roles become fewer and fewer as his habits become known. Don't tell me Hollywood didn't know he became a junkie. Haven't hears any star say "Oh, how surprising", have you? Still lives at home at 30 years old. Anyway, who gives a shit. I am worried about my own two sons...who know the consequences of hanging out with ANYONE who is a loser..you automatically become the same. Stop babying the man...he must pay for his actions, like any other criminal does. Maybe he didn't pull the trigger, but lets say they went to rob a bank....one guy has a gun...what's the gun for, to 'scare' people? You aren't stupid, come on. NOW he implicates the other guy? He should have done that at the onset, and told him, no, I am not going anywhere with you while you are packing a piece. He KNEW. He will be punished accordingly, and then he will have all the time in the world to think of his actions. That "don't you know who I am" won't go far in jail. Everyone will want a piece of him to prove that he isn't so bad, after all. Then they will use him thinking he has money. When he doesn't produce, he will be beaten down. They will antagonize him to see how tough he is. But he will most likely be put into protective custody, because of "who he is". Works every time, huh, Lillo.

Dec 14th 2005 9:59AM I cannot believe what I am reading.....to all you liberals who feel so sorry for the criminals...if the officer had been your husband, brother, whatever, I assure you that your feelings would be different. The bottom line remains, however.....these two junkies broke into a (dead) man's apartment seeking to steal his drugs, and found an empty apartment. Number two idiot was stupid enough to pull a gun and shoot....in New York , during the commission of a felony, no matter who was the triggerman, all individuals participating in said felony are guilty. The only out would be if you tried to stop the crime....Number one idiot did not do that. If you feel so bad for Brancato (it's funny, no one feels sorry for Armento),then if he is given bail, use your money, bail him out and get him a few bags so he can feel better. The poster who said "the entertainment industry is filled with rejection and pain" which "makes you want to have a smoke or drink"....are you frigging serious? ALL aspects of life are filled with rejection and pain....some people deal with it, some feel sorry for themselves and take drugs so as not to face and deal with it.....I have two kids and struggle to pay the bills....every day is filled with pain and I cannot even afford a tree for them...but do I get high and rob and "ooops, killed a cop"? Lillo, baby, I realize not getting roles you so deserved must have hurt, I realize some people are selfish when they don't recognize "who you are", and how dare those girls not drop to their knees when in your presence, but now, baby, your in the real world........our world.....deal with what you have reaped.......the young cop who never even was married or had a child....didn't even reach 30...because of you and your dumbass stoned friend. You can still get married...some lifer named "Cornfed" or "Boriqua4Life" or "Dread" would LOVE to make you their "woman". Dumbass. Grow up.
