Apr 13th 2011 3:28AM I agree we should always go to the Lord God Almighty for our peace and help in every area of our lives, however we are also in this earthly body and subject to the laws of the natural realm as far as taking care of our responsibility towards our bodies. We are told in 1 Corinthians ch. 6 vs.19 "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? ch3 vs 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him: for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple!
We are also told in Ephesians ch 5 vs 28 that "husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies.......vs 29 after all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church.
Now those verses tell me I have a responsibility to feed and care for my body in a way that doesn't destroy it. And that means good, healthy food, enough sleep, exercise, washing myself daily, and whatever else it takes to care for the temple of God (my body) so I don't destroy it. I am a minister and I enjoy reading healthy tips from the WEB.

Mar 27th 2011 6:47AM I agree the first half of the doos are horrible, and the first lady looks like she knows it and is not very happy about having a very freaky hairdoo with such a pretty face. The new mohawks remind me of how we use to comb our babies hair and the babies of 60 years ago. Every time I look at an adult with one I think it looks very, very silly. Hally berry does look good in a pixie but the dress she had on in another article makes her look like a woman body builder with a dress 2 sizes too small. Carrie Underwood in the same article looks very classy and beautiful in her long light pink dress. I love that color.
