Aug 6th 2006 10:32PM I am no prissy, two-shoes- but come on, what parent encourages their kids to do something that is not good for them? All those years buckling them in, getting them to brush their teeth, etc.--all for naught when you teach/help them to light up. I tell my kids that when they can, go somewhere else when they smell the smoke. While I would love for the smokers to keep their smoke to themselves, I think it's unrealistic, there will always be smokers. We just need to learn how to take care of ourselves and our children. People like to smell air that is mostly free of odors, so maybe that is something a smoker may not consider.
