Mar 22nd 2010 3:35PM I believe the problem is not the children. it is the parenting or lack there of. people who have kids these days rely on the school system to teach the values and morals that are the parents responsibility. Also what does a 13yo need with steel toed boots? I think the boy should be tried as an adult and hie parents should be tried as accomplices for not teaching the kid proper respect for others. If the victim insulted the kids dead brother then it should be a battle of words. And where was the faculty when this started, hiding for fear of a law suit for stopping a beating or placing bets or fumbling for their cameras?

Mar 12th 2010 12:57PM my issue with this is the criminal/civil suit nonsense. If one is accused of a crime, tried and found not guilty that means they did not do it so no civil suit should be allowed. If it is about money then if guilty in criminal court the order of restitution is applied. If he is guilty fine, throw the book at him. If not, drop it.
All the issues this country has, from health care to unemployment to whatever all boil down to human greed. I would challenge everyone in the world to look at their lives and ask themselves "How much do I really need" and be honest.

Feb 22nd 2010 3:33PM You are all wrong! You do not own your home. Even if you think it is paid for. You are renting from Uncle Sam. Realestate Tax, Property Tax, try not paying and see how long before the liens are filed or the siezure notice arrives. Not to mention Imminent Domain. Things will only "Change" when Capitol Hill is leveled and the corrupt govt is replaced with honest working AMERICANS.

Feb 19th 2010 3:56PM I think is is high time the schools got involved in this type of thing. I am sick of hearing people whining about the fall of todays youth. Parents need to take an active roll in teaching their children respect for themselves and others. When I was in school it was far different than today. My parents never considered suing when I was spanked by the principle or teacher. I am almost positive there is a laywer and or parent thinking about how to make a few $$ for the infringement of the freedom of expression pushed on the kids for not allowing them to dance the way they want.

How far would you go to protect your family. As for me I would start cutting off fingers and toes to find out all I could to stop them. Some times you have to out bully the bully. Apr 6th 2009 4:57PM this is rediculous, what everyone seems to be missing is the fact that all these rules and bans that are supposed to help are doing nothing but turning the children into victims, I was accosted by bullies in school and was told that I should report it to the teacher, her response was"stay away form him" so I spend the rest of my time looking over my shoulder instead of learning. and this was 30years ago, things have gotten worse. take your kids to learn boxing and martial arts. good kids for confidence and self defense, not so good kids to learn self control and diseplin. i know i can't spell, blame the system and my parents for not letting me slug the bullies.
