Mar 24th 2010 10:53AM It was cute at first--the two next door neighbor couples. Funny and somewhat-realistic showing the contrast between newly weds and long-married couples.

But then it got bizarre with the vengeful principal, all of the focus on the weird son-in-law, etc. And then changing actresses for the daughter--having two or three weddings, having her pregnant then not pregnant. TOO bizarre.

Feb 27th 2009 11:11PM I think a child seeing a disabled person is almost always a positive for the child. However, because children sometimes stare or blurt out embarassing comments, I think watching someone on TV is a perfect solution.
My grandparents were both deaf, and one of my cousins was mentally retarded. Because of that, I am comfortable with all kinds of folks.
I think this show is a positive.

Feb 22nd 2009 3:55PM I'm a Girl Scout leader of 5 years. Girl Scouts DO NOT give any money or support to Planned Parenthood. In fact, my troop made baby blankets and boo-boo bunnies for a crisis pregnancy center.
There are 3 different bakeries that Girl Scouts use, hence different flavors and different prices. in Dallas, we have sugar-free chocolate chips and all of our boxes cost $3.50 per box.
We appreciate the folks who buy our cookies--both for themselves and to donate. Every year, we sell cookies to donate to a retirement home. Some troops donate to the oversea military troops. For those of you who don't want to eat the cookies, you can always donate. If you don't want to donate, then at least don't complain and criticize the Girl Scouts.
