Jan 24th 2009 7:46PM well mr TomdeTomTom, you need to go back and check out sirius n xm merger....the day to day broadcast/programming is handled by the former sirius personalities...as an xm subscriber for 10 yrs, I have seen the music played on air go from LIVE CALL IN BY REQUEST with a wide variety to choose from downgraded to unable to cantact, and hearing the same music repeatedly 2 times a day as if it was on auto replay every 12 hrs, with on 2 occasions this week hearing 1 song 3 times the same day between 9 AM and 11 PM. The first week after the merger I saw the disappearance of xm america and the nightly request show with country dan, as well as taking the only channel off that played tunes from around the world~including irish celtic. SORRY, the loft does NOT play the same music. So for the wonderfully terrible programmers from sirius, return the xm control and all will be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sep 22nd 2008 2:27PM to charge $3.80 for a soft drink refill is totally absurd...its bad enough that some places charge $1 to refill it....the cost of that soda at regular price more than pays for however much one drinks AND still leaves the establishment with a hell of a profit...they pay dirt cheap prices for the canisters/bags get hundreds of servings out of each canister/bag and after the first 20 servings the canister is paid for, so everything past that is pure profit....slap the girls hand for pouring the drink out and dismiss the case

Jun 13th 2008 3:26AM it dont matter how good the remake is, ALL remakes do nothing to the quality of the movie...it seems that everywhere you look the writers are doing nothing but rewriting perfectly good movies and turning out slop because there is nothing wrong with the original...it also shows the writers have NO CREATIVITY and are totally lacking in the ability to create new ideas...I WONT watch on tv or in the theater any movie that is a remake...they are not as interesting or well made as their original predecessor...

Apr 30th 2008 9:17PM I have watched the weather channel since its inception, and I am very shocked that long time forecaster Janetta Jones is not even listed...she has always been very beautiful, and now that she is into her middle years, looks damned fine still...and manningtim, no offense, but, I have seen karen minton too, and, well...............20 yrs ago, maybe...her predecessor, Cat Ballou, a gorgeous black lady was leaps and bounds better looking than karen minton ever was...I remember cat when she first appeared doing the weather for 22 alive in dayton ohio in the late 80's...if I had not been married then, I might have sought her out to date then...but still...why wasnt janetta jones included from the weather channel??

His comment was that he (gene garber) should have LET him get a hit just to keep the streak alive. that comment alone changed my outlook on one of the greatest men to play the game. It said he was a self centered egotistical s.o.b. and now, these comments he made to the kids at the baseball camp, well...pete old boy, go take a southbound leap in front of a northbound freight train...I no longer support anything to do with him or even his being voted into cooperstown during his lifetime...
