May 1st 2009 11:21PM i actually read it. and you're right, it is easy to get caught up in the 'moment' as it were. i mean, AI was never one of my favorite shows but when i HAVE to watch it..lol, kids, other fam members...i do get excited to think that one of those kids' lives will change dramatically...any more though, anyone ON the show that does well tends to do alright for themselves. so just being on a show like that is a huge career booster. so there ya go...people DO read comments! and not complain about the economy, Obama, christian right, liberal left and anything else out there! :) have a great day. :)

Mother Admits She Doesn't Love Her Daughter {ParentDish}
Jan 25th 2009 12:49AM APPLAUSE to this mother...brave enough to come forward and admit something there are thousands of women dealing with. Whose fault is it that she isn't able to love this child? What was her parenting like? How do you end that cycle? And give the child up to someone that will love them...then be hated and talked about for 'giving away your child'?? Damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. She knows what she's feeling isn't right. Where's the pity for her? She's not proud of this-not one bit. She's a struggling WOMAN doing the best she can. When I see comments, so hate-filled, so angry, posted as a response to this article, I wonder...you react this way to something on the internet? How do you react IRL? How does THAT affect your own children? No one is perfect. My heart goes out to this mother and daughter. I hold you close to my heart, and think of you a lot. I know what both sides feel like. Not knowing how to love, and not loving a child. Count yourself lucky if you have 'all the right stuff' and can be passed over when it comes to scrutiny about the way you parent. Those wounds may never heal-for either of them.

Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
