'Bosom Buddies' Cast: Where Are They Now? {AOL TV}

Dec 1st 2010 3:10AM It's a Billy Joel song, but it was most certainly not him singing. It was a cover version.

Dec 29th 2009 5:52AM She's "Naomi" from Seinfeld, the woman whose laugh sounded like Elmer Fudd and who went with Kramer to Susan's cabin. The actress has clearly had some face work so she looks kind of different.

A holiday tradition: Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol {AOL TV}

Dec 26th 2009 3:46AM Count me as another one who considers this my favorite xmas special. The songs, the theater framework, the portrayal of the Cratchet family and the ghosts rank this as good as any live-person version. Huge credit also goes to Jim Backus, whose portrayal of Magoo's transformation from miserable to horrified at his future to exhuberant and generous really moving to watch.

Does How I Met Your Mother have anything to be ashamed of? {AOL TV}

Dec 17th 2009 8:50AM I love HIMYM but I feel some episodes feel like rip-offs of Friends, and Scrubs too. Last night's ep was extremely similar to the Friends episode with Rachel buddying up to her boss by smoking, including influencing Chandler who was a struggling-to-quit smoker throughout the series. It's not just that HIMYM covers the same themes as other sitcoms, it's that the scripts match too closely. For a show that has some really groundbreaking elements, it's disappointing when HIMYM feels like just another lame sitcom.

Review: The New Adventures of Old Christine - I Love Woo, I Hate Woo {AOL TV}

Nov 28th 2009 6:11AM You left out the best surprise at the end of the episode: "And that, kids, is How I Met Your Mother." That was great!

Benjamin Bratt back on the beat at Law & Order {AOL TV}

Oct 26th 2009 5:16AM I'm very happy to see Bratt's return. I guess I'm in the minority, I think both Anderson and Sisto (whom I normally like) are a terrible fit and have no chemistry on the show or with each other. I cringe when Anderson tries to do the "sardonic comment" thing in the teasers, and Sisto has adopted this weird intonation that also makes me cringe.

Noth is my fav so any plans for his appearance would be much appreciated! He's by far the best cop, created chemistry with each of the rotating cast, and many of the best episodes revolved around him (e.g. Confession, Bad Faith, Last Rites - and note the Catholic theme too).

It's People's Choice Awards time again {AOL TV}

Oct 22nd 2009 4:15AM I don't know how the nominations for the PCAwards are done, but I do know that Gary Unmarried is *funny.* I'm guessing (just a guess) you don't actually watch the show, but choose to knee-jerk slam the show. If it finds its legs, the show will be up to par with the best of Raymond. (that may not be your speed but if it is it's worth giving it a chance).

Sundays with Seth: Meet the Crinklesacks and fly with the Smiths {AOL TV}

Oct 12th 2009 5:52PM Another good FG tidbit was the nod to South Park Cartoon Wars - when coming up with a name for the improv group, Quagmire parrotted Parker&Stone's criticism that you can't just throw in a random joke, it has to be organic from the plot! Wish they would've gone a little further with that.
