In a World Where This Trailer Is the Best Wedding Save-the-Date Ever {Lemondrop}

Mar 10th 2010 8:23PM That is so full of win - best to them both!!

Five reasons to leave your camera at home {Gadling}

Feb 5th 2010 3:25PM Photography etiquette. PERFECT! I love taking pictures, and viewing pictures, but sometimes the shutterbugs get to me. I live in a tourist town, and attend a church that is a tourist attraction due to its age and historical value. I can hardly think of anything more annoying than being in church - during a Mass, no less - when someone with a camera gets up and into the aisle to photograph the "action." I joke about tourists wanting to see Catholics "in their natural habitat," but it doesn't make their action any less distracting or any less rude.

Heidi Montag's Plastic Surgery Is 'All God's Timing' {Popeater}

Jan 20th 2010 11:37PM Before: pretty blonde. After: just another Barbie doll.

Surprise: Your Biological Father May Be Charles Manson {ParentDish}

Nov 25th 2009 9:57PM I looked at his picture, and immediately thought, "what a beautiful-looking person, I'll bet his potential father is a real monster." Hit the nail on that one, I guess. Peace and All Good to Matthew. Who you are is not who you might be descended from. The light of your being shines through your eyes, even in a photograph. You're OK. Love your life and your adopted (I believe, real, in the best sense of the word) parents, and just ignore the resemblance and rumor. You ARE beautiful.

Since When Does the Kool-Aid Man Wear Pants? {Asylum}

Aug 10th 2009 12:22AM The only thing I thought was odd about the Kool-Aid man as a kid was that he'd pour the drink for kids in commercials from a small pitcher held in his hand... I mean, if he was a pitcher of Kool-Aid, himself, why didn't he just bend over? It DIDN'T occur to me that bending over to pour out his contents might have seemed worthy of censorship as some adults might think now. I was a very practical kid.

Gifts She'll Take the Wrong Way {Holidash News}

Dec 8th 2008 8:26PM Just my experience: I told my guy what I wanted, since he asked me, and gave him a short list so he could pick something and surprise me. He ignored the list, bought me something he thought was practical, but is entirely useless ( a kitchen gadget ). It was just one of many examples of him not listening. Needless to say, I have another man in my life, now. Maybe not every gift is scrutinized, but guys, don't ask for suggestions if you're going to ignore them. It's like ignoring HER.

Tire-slashing granny ordered to knit sweaters for victims {Autoblog}

Oct 6th 2008 11:57PM I was almost run over in a crosswalk by an elderly fellow, with a street full of witnesses. Most just shook their head and called him a sorry old guy... Suppose he could have gotten away with serious injury or murder?

Annoying Restaurant Trends {Slashfood}

Sep 5th 2008 12:17AM It's better than it used to be, possibly because enough people have complained, but on occasion when going out to lunch alone (I sometimes do on a work day, if I've not brought my lunch), I get seated way in the back away from all the other patrons, or worse, next to the kitchen. I may not have a companion on this trip to the restaurant, but I don't have a disease! Being next to the kitchen, if one doesn't have distractions of conversation with a companion, a person gets to hear the service people talk about the customers, the boss, the break schedule, and more. I do tip well, as I have friends and family in restaurant business. After a few visits to the same restaurant, servers pick up on that, and I find I get seated out with the rest of the guests. One benefit to eating alone - the waitstaff doesn't seem to hover as much.

Rendered Ruminations: Porsche Traveller Concept slaps Stuttgart in the face {Autoblog}

Mar 17th 2008 4:04PM Good point... I hadn't noticed before, it has no back window. That can't be intentional... can it? (I hope not)
