Aug 25th 2010 11:51AM How could Bozo survive the cannibals? Because clowns are freakin' scary!
Vanessa Branch -- 10 Things You Didn't Know About the Orbit Gum Girl {Asylum}
Jul 22nd 2010 11:02AM That makes perfect sense to me. Every "urban" friend I've ever had are deathly afraid of farm animals. I think it's because these animal are so alien to people who grow up in a city. A funny example is the time I was shooting a video for a local rapper and he had this part in the rap about being "hillbilly" so we shot part of it on a farm. This huge, muscular, rough-looking guy screamed like a girl when a pig ran up to him.
Westboro Baptist Church to Picket 'False Idols' at Comic-Con {Asylum}
Jul 19th 2010 10:22AM He should realize that the Bible (Old Testament at least) was sort of the comics of biblical times. They were moral stories passed on verbally before they were put to print into what is now known as the Bible. Much like the Greek, Roman, and Hindu religions, the goings on in the Bible were pretty much tales told to entertain the masses and give them something to believe in and (in some cases) fear. We're a whole lot more secular these days. Comics, TV and movies gives us entertainment while often (if not unintentionally) giving us moral lessons. Being secular, we know to separate this entertainment from reality (for most people). While religious nut jobs still believe that the story of Jonah being swallowed by a whale is real and not a parable. It's even physically impossible for anyone to be swallowed by a whale like in that story.

Sex Tips From Olivia Munn {Asylum}
Jul 7th 2010 11:13AM Yeah, there are a lot of haters out there. She's not the geekiest of the geeks, but she's good about poking fun at herself. I'm sure she was hired for her looks and wit more than her geek factor. But, I still like her. She makes me laugh and she's hot. What more do you need?
DirecTV Rushes 3D for World Cup, Angers Customers {Fanhouse Backporch}
Jun 21st 2010 5:20PM Well, it's pretty easy to piecemeal the posts from haters or people who don't know how to follow directions or find solutions. Resets usually work for me, but I didn't have any outages. Just because you or anyone you know doesn't have a 3D TV or like soccer, doesn't mean there aren't soccer loving people with 3D TVs out there. If there was a combo Nascar and country music station coming out and there was a small outage for it, I'm sure you'd think it was a worthy sacrifice. Be a little more open minded.
Marisa Miller's 'Guitar Hero' Ad Banned for Being Too Racy {Asylum}
Jun 18th 2010 10:58AM That really wasn't racy at all. I mean, Lady Gaga is racier than that and she's on the tabloid shows all the time. I've seen Lane Bryant commercials that were sexier. That just helps prove my claim that people are stupid.

Debate the Greatness and Win a 'Karate Kid' Blu-ray Box Set {Asylum}
May 12th 2010 10:37AM Like the majority says, the original was the best. It was the genie in the bottle. The whole wash the car, paint the fence, paint the house thing was awesome. It wasn't so much about how much ass Daniel-san could kick but how the work transformed him. It was the bond between child and mentor.
The second one was ok, but really it was more about him using his karate. Not much depth there.
The new one...what can it do? It's a little premature to make predictions, but we can assume Jackie Chan teaches young Jaden to do karate, probably much in the style of the first one. But, the genie is out. Been there, done that. For it to be better than the original, it would have to improve upon it and I can't see what could be done to do that. Like most remakes, I'm assuming it's going to try to copy the original movie for the modern day and I just don't see the point.
Cramer vs. Reality -- Dow Crashes, Mass Hysteria Ensues {Asylum}
May 12th 2010 10:06AM Actually, this type of reporting is more of an editorial and is open to bias. Unbiased reporting is almost exclusive to the AP and Reuters. You'd hope it'd also be prevalent in local and national news, but it's not. I sure hope that you don't get all your critical news from Asylum.
